Hey guys,

I currently trying to repair some cameras to get them in a good enough condition to sell them, those are typically russian cameras (Feds& zorkis).
Up until now all of them had to get either a ribbon replacement or a full on curtain and ribbon replacement. I'm at a poinbt where I understand the mechanism and the variables that change if i position ribbons/ curtains differently, and that got me thinking:
Isnt there a faster streamline way of replacing ribbons and curtains? It usually takes me a couple of hours (2- 4h maybe) to get the positioning right.

I usually use double sided tape and fiddle with the positioning till i'm happy, but that feels very inefficient.

How do you do it? Is there even a faster way or does it get faster with experiance?

Thank you
