To those who don't know, StoneNYC is referencing a USA movie and television series called "The Highlander". Perhaps there were books too but I don't know. Anyway, these immortal people ran around cutting each others' heads off.

There were also several movies and a cartoon series for kids set (I think) in a post apocalyptic world that took place eons after the television series.
There were books, but not sure if they were written before or after the TV series.
Those Americans, they think cutting people's heads off is entertainment... *shakes head*
The character was also Scottish from the Highlands (hence the name).
It was also about doing good and honor and positive things
On a sidenote, I really can't think of anything for this MSA except shooting boobs, which seems like too easy of a thing and not worth bothering with. lol.
Photographing a pair of nice boobs isn't worth bothering with? You need to step out from behind the camera into the real world more often.

I do that every week though... It's not really a challenge, I thought the point was to challenge us to shoot something new?
Well, then there's only one solution: you'll have to come up with a better shot yourself!

Common, isn't it that obvious? New York & two ...... how about Twin Towers ??? Go over there and make some great shots of the new building, or the monument, or ....

I know, hence the 2nd theme: haggis .....
In light of this MSA theme, having two winners would be extremely appropriate! No reason that the choice of topic and judging couldn't be a collaboration between two people....

A drive-by shooting
Two train wagons, each second class. I used my new Canon T70, what is my second Canon camera ever (next to an AE-1).
We were both doing 120 kmh (about 80 mph), when I pulled up beside the train on the highway at the way home two weeks ago.
I made the shot while holding the camera in front of the right side window.
I simply pulled the trigger, for I didn’t have the time to focus properly (besides on the road …).
The funny part: often I take this train twice a week, looking at the cars on the highway, like a weird double perspective ;-)
(Canon T70, 50 mm 1.8 FD, Ilford FP4+ in Caffenol-C-M for 14 minutes @ 20 degrees Celsius)

Small problem- aside from the fact that Stone, despite his screen name, doesn't live in New York, just near it, the Twin Towers no longer exist. There was a little incident called 9/11 that created that situation.

I just saw that Barbara Ann posted a few images in the MSA Gallery (without telling us here ... trying sneaky to win? )
I especially liked the image of the two annual memorial light beams at the Twin Tower site in NY. See: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)
A 5 seconds handheld shot of the two light beams, making all the surrounding buildings look like they're trembling as on that specific day (9/11) when the towers came down.

Actually, I don't know HOW to post in the thread! That along with my feeling that it is easier (and faster) to judge the entries when they are side by side in the Gallery instead of having to scroll through the thread.

Bumperettes?
I received a post card today from Hawkeye in the Post Card Exchange 33. A fine image of an abandoned 1949 Buick, shot with a Rolleiflex and very well printed on Ilford Post Card paper.
And guess what: it has bumperettes!

On other, beefier cars they're bumper overrides. On 1950s Cadillacs, they called them Mae Wests or Jane Russels because of their torpedo-like shape.
