I'm happy to hear they're arriving.

Just to note (in case people routinely ignore their private messages) I sent a couple of bulk messages - one to people who chose to do scans and one to everyone. No responses are required.
 
I made some test strips yesterday in the darkroom, alongside other stuff. The dense negative means long exposure times (6x to 7x what is normal for me), so it took me an hour and a half to mimic what had taken less than 5 minutes to achieve in GIMP. I hope to do a final print next week.

Thanks, Don! I received the message and have responded. I emailed my finished image to you along with the particulars of my process. I hope it arrived safely.
 
I had a darkroom session yesterday, but still not happy with the result. I'll give it another try in the coming days.
 
Glad you got it, Paul. I guess most people should have, by now. Hopefully none have been eaten by the postal machine.
 
Incidentally, I've so far received two emailed scans of results - thanks to both of you - but I have not yet looked at them since I am not sure I'm finished with my own.
 
What size and resolution should our images be? How and to whom should we submit them to? Thanks.

I saw, but I didn't scroll down to look at the image, since I have not yet finalized mine - so I couldn't respond.

I think I accidentally omitted you from the private message I sent detailing how and where to send the photo. I just added it to you. Let me know if that doesn't work. You can email me whatever size will fit in an email. When time comes to post in the thread, either you or I can do it (depends what people decide re. the way the images are initially posted).

If anyone else did not get the private message with the email address, let me know.

If you didn't get it, there must be some kind of problem with the feature. Maybe it's buried under all your other messages?
 
I was hoping to get into the darkroom this week, but it's not looking likely at this stage. Don't wait up for me - but I expect I'll be able to make my print next week and deliver a scan of the print then.
 
Sure would like to see some images of the results! I downloaded the scanned negative and found it to be a challenging image to work with, so I am curious about how people handled it.
