Can I suggest something? Nevermind.

You didn't need to remove your suggestion.

For those who didn't catch it, the suggestion was for everyone to send me their result and I would gather them and, when initially posted, not say who did what. That it would be more intriguing for everyone. I don't mind doing it if people want to do that.

I think it's a fine suggestion and I'm very much OK with it. I'm also OK with the original plan, so as far as I'm concerned, @Don_ih can make the call.
If we post anonymously, I would personally to at least want to specify if the end result is a scan/photo of a print or a digital edit of the negative.

I'd like for more people to chime in with what they want. I'm for whatever makes this the most interesting for everyone - or at least for the greatest number of people.

I will go along with whatever is decided. I think giving information as to the process and perhaps why one elected to present the image a particular way would be more interesting and stimulating and perhaps helpful to some who would like to try a new or different technique.
As for my image I recorded each step from the scan I received. Perhaps there is a different or better way than I used that would be helpful.
I am planning to present my image with a list of the process and why I elected to the approach the subject as I did.

That's what I would hope for from everyone, to whatever degree of description/explanation they feel is required. But the initial "anonymous" posting of the image doesn't preclude that being added later. Also, if I were to make a pdf of all photos, I would include whatever details were included with each image.

How long do we have to make the print? Due to a work emergency, I've had to skip my Friday printing session, not sure if I'll be able to got back in the darkroom before next weekend.

I'll consider this the sign-up month (may be cut short if 16 people jump on all at once) and then I'll send the negatives. Then we should all wait another month or so for everyone to get it and indicate they're finished with it. We won't show any results until a majority says they're ready.

I have to wait with printing until Oktober, so reading this was of some importance to me.

My idea is no results are posted until a good number of people have said they're ready (I'd like over half those who have received negatives to say they're done). So, however long that takes. I'd like for all the negatives to have been received, also. I don't anticipate any posting of results until October.

Nothing gets decided by committee 😊

It'll probably be another week or two before the negative even lands here.

It should be before everyone completely forgets about it. I was thinking Thanksgiving 🦃

Whose Thanksgiving ? Ours or theirs ? 😊

How about two dates. For those of us who already are or will soon be ready for October 15 and then another on November 15. Those can be starting dates. Approximately 5 weeks for early birds and 9 weeks + for anyone.

Yes, the delay is to allow people to make the photo how they want it to be, without having seen what anyone else did. That can range from being as straightforward as you think possible to being as wacky as you can imagine.

Is it too late to get into this activity? I just found out about it a couple days ago. I have already downloaded one of the digital scans, so I am all ready to go, if I can be allowed to participate at this late date.

The negative arrived in my mailbox today (Idaho, USA). I'll print a quick version of it tonight, and then think about what to do next.
