No hurry, Steve! Just so thrilled that the camera is with you and ready to go.

With the Oly on the move now, hopefully we can close this round out by by Easter. Just in time to sacrifice some rabbits along with the chickens. Yummmmmmmmmmm.

Poor li'l bunnies...

What did the poor little bunnies ever do to you??

Ever watch Monty Python's "Holy Grail" ? I would make the sacrifice to the bunnys.

Not only do I know killer rabbit of Caerbannog Rick.. but I have a puppet of him bought at the musical Spamalot.
I take my bunnies very seriously

Goes with my Spamalot shirt... "I'm not dead yet". I wear it to old folks home. Sort of cheers them up somehow.

"I feel fine!" "I don't want to go onto the cart..."

It's on its way!

Steve.

Thank you Steve. Slow roasting a chicken as I text.

I'm a proficient multi-tasker, just ask my girl friend.

ITS HERE !! The Oly showed up on my porch with this mornings post. YIPPEE-- oh wait, I'm going to be away for a few days--hope I dn't forget it's here.
Guess I better let the package warm up to room temp before I open it, it's still -8f this morning.

Wonderful news, Rick !
BTW, when it will reach human life temperature, can you tell us if the companion logbook is still here and updated ?

I knew Dr. Who had a companion, but the Oly?

I'm beginning to think we will never again reach human life temperature here in the Northeast U.S. May be time for me to move back to Southern California.

There were only a few signatures and comments accompanying the Leica, so apparently not everyone signs. Hope the Oly crowd makes better use of the logbook than the Leica group did on theirs. We'll make it a point to scan and post the messages and signatures with the pictures when they everything is ready.

Stay safe if you are in the path of this monster storm (eastern half of U.S.)!

Shawn

OK, but bring your own water with you!

Snowmageddon and the Icepocalypse have so far been uneventful here. They cancelled schools in Wilson County, but we've seen only a few scattered flurries and a few attempts at sprinkling rain. While I eagerly await spring, I'm more eager to receive a camera in the mail.

The log book is still with the Oly, tho not showing entries from all, seems Steve and Nicolai are absent from it. I won't be using the camera until next week some time, I'm leaving town for a few days and have plans that don't include the photos I have intended for it. I need my daughters help to take them and she isn't making the trip with me. My girlfriend and I will be having a quiet valentines weekend together, hope you all have a one as well. Heres wishing you all happy VD.

I didn't know about that. I suppose I should have read about it somewhere. Please add that I took two shots. You should then be able to work out how many Nicolai took (if that's what the book is for).

Steve.

Steve, I had to look in the bottom of the box to realize there was a book, it only looked like packing . Sorry you didn't get to read the blurbs in it, nothing to do with the photos on the camera, but musings of the participants. Oh, and a couple of beautiful prints shared, I am going to follow suit and include a snap of mine.

Perhaps the pages can be scanned and posted here when the camera finally gets home.

Rick,

As you have a few days until taking your shots, maybe it's a good idea to send back the camera to Steve, as he can write down his musings to the logbook :whistling: Or even better, to Nicholai... :munch:

Ok, ok, put down that rifle, I 'm getting out !
