I believe the announcement will be that Kodak is enhancing its 120 films to include an imprint on the developed negative of a frame number and the film name.

For those who don't want this enhanced feature, they will release 220 film.

Why does anyone believe Kodak is going to resurrect 220? Because they can't resolve the paper backing issue?

Indeed. It’s time to embrace the issue.

For those of you saying that Kodachrome cannot make a comeback because of our inability to process K14 are deluded!

Kodak would obviously develop a new process that was currently possible using existing labs.

Maybe a an update of Portra 800, or a tungsten balanced Portra. If it was the first I'd be a bit worried. Better grain and better resilience when underexposing would be welcome of course. But I like its colour saturation and wouldn't want that to change.

Given that they have failed to meet their stated Ektachrome release date, they would be scrambling to produce them, and we would probably have a long wait.
I believe the latest update said they planned to release Ektachrome "in 2018." So they have the whole year to meet their target.
