Then let me rephrase that...What would make you guess that 400VC would go?
It seems to be the least known of all their Portra films, and seems to be the hardest to find stocked locally in all formats. Most people I have mentioned it to do not even know that it exists. I expect Portra 800 to go as well, before some others. Forgot to mention that.
. I've really started to latch onto 400vc and portra 800 lately, since most of my shooting is available light portaiture/editorial-styled work. damn. I do hope they keep these in the lineup. but we'll see. I know a lot of pro's who still shoot film use the VC lines of film, mostly for the saturation, and less blue shadows than the NC line. I use 400nc in 4x5 all the time, just wish they had 400vc, but that probably will never come to pass. Just wish that I could get more deals like I've bee getting lately on the auction site, cause developing at school(PCC) sure has its benefits cost-savings wise
!
It has been a while since I heard that one......it used to go around when I was in the Navy studying physics and reactor theory.
