For that much the ghost of Eastman should hand deliver it.
Well, if so the ghost of Eastman is pretty slow in his old age.
According to the tracking information the magazine was shipped with an outfit called "Mail on the Move." I think it should be renamed to "Mail Barely on the Move."
It departed Ramsey, Minnesota on June 2nd at 5:38 PM. It finally arrived in Menlo Park, Illinois on June 6 at 7:58 AM. Then it sat around in Menlo Park until it finally departed today, June 8, at 1:07 am.
When I checked their website (Mail on the Move) and investigated why you should ship with their service, there was no mention whatsoever of shipping speed. So...based on what I read on their website, and based on the tracking results so far, I really hope that Kodak Alaris didn't overpay for this service. Of course they could be paying for security, not speed. If so then they are probably getting more benefit for their money than the American taxpayer is getting with the Department of Homeland Security.
Anyway, political barbs aside, it has taken 5 and one half days to get from Minnesota to Illinois. Which, by the way, is in the wrong direction since I live in Nevada. So, at this rate, I will probably get it around this same time next month.
