Looks like a perfect fit to me!

Are you sure that you are loading starting in the centre, and then working your way out on the spiral?

You need to cup the film in order to get it into the spaces between the spirals, but once you do it works fine.

And by the way - your attachments are too large! They load much better if you resize them down to 850 pixels on a side.

Patience!

Thank you very much, Mr. King, I guess I was still suffering analysis paralysis, as one fellow film photog had mentioned years ago!
i may ge to developing tonight, and, since I already bought plastic, I'll now have two reels to lock and load! xD

I wonder, has anyone here developed slide film using caffenol, or even wineol? Thanks again everyone! happy photography! -americo aka a.rodriguezpix

Yep, looks like the correct reel. Follow Matt's advice. Before you develop again, though, take the "ruined" film and practice in the light. When you have it on the reel, look through the sides and make sure the film isn't touching. The plastic should be easier, though.
