Time will tell? Isn't that generally when the final buzzer goes off and it's suddenly the end of the ballgame? Unfortunately, in the habits of both Kodak and Fuji, they don't generally give you any other clock to help you determine how much time you've got left before that final buzzer. When they do announce a discontinuation, the last coating of a given emulsion might have already transpired, and they're announcing the selloff of the last of it. Corporate choices can often be arbitrary and sudden, depending who is in charge. And it's hard enough just to keep track of who's in charge. CEO's seem to get switched out more often than products themselves.
The massive increasement of pricing from one week to the next noticed from big dealers is the
final clock! (Hart to identify beside Fujis normal massive increasement of pricing some quarters a year...

)
Because dealers know it can not be ordered again ! And often they wonder about because
customers demand their film! So bigger dealer are checking their stocks and calculate their
"dealers clock" of being sold out!
In most cases dealers increased in addition then - and that is the point Fuji come out with
statement next weeks

!
So the modern "bank run" = last Fuji Films is beginning :
......caused from low demand

?

PS : BTW it was quite clear that Kodak might had thoughts on New E6 films some years before
the anouncement to rewife Ektachrome!
Because of the phantastic pricing of last batch Ektachromes on EBay = + 600%
