Apparently, that's a question one needs to ask of a potential Hasselblad purchase too. How many people in this thread have said HB's don't like sitting?
At least it's a fraction of the price of a HB - the amount at risk is fairly low.
But... no interchangeable film backs... which for me is a must.
The things Hasselblad owners need to do...It's hard to use the waist level finder with a paperbag over your head so no one knows what you're shooting.

You should cut holes out for the eyes...

Pinholes?
Not if you poke the holes from the inside...
I trust Matt. Right, Matt? ...Matt?
Matt is the only one here (I believe) that knows the seller...
So we have found the ultimate use for a Hasselblad is a doorstop? The third is destined for the great parts bin in the sky. That 3rd one has really been used up, have nothing in it. I love these cameras.

As the title of this thread states... Sirius Glass, stay out of this!
I've been exercising my Blads today. 2 of the 3 electric bodies are working great. The third is destined for the great parts bin in the sky. That 3rd one has really been used up, have nothing in it. I love these cameras.

In context of repair/reliability viz Hasselblad, another point occurred to me today.
Starting with the Hasselblad 501C/M and thereafter, they introduced a coating material called "palpas" that was used internally in the body as well as on the barn doors on the side facing the film back.
There was/is a known issue with the palpas cracking badly. I have a 501C/M that has this, whereas my 500C/M does not have the coating, and hence the problem.
According to everything I have read, it seems that palpas is either impossible or very difficult to replace, BUT ... it seems not to matter. The cracked coating appears to have no effect on image production.
If you absolutely want to avoid this issue, get a 500C/M which never had the coating in the first place.
I use the 250mm lens more than the 150mm lens.
On a tripod, I hope.
