I don't know what filter that takes, But I like AF50 and other lightweight D primes for super light, walkin' around on the plastic fantastic. And since I've been using them and their siblings for so long, I have craploads of 52mm filters from precious purchases. I don't think I've purchased a 52mm UV/Clear filter in a decade.
I wouldn't bother buying one for a 28-80 though. I mean, the lens you sold was like $35 and it had an N75 as a rear lens cap. It's a Bill Withers lens. Use it until you use it up.
