Does removing AH layer makes the photo look like it is printed with lith?
No, it just gives tons of halation - makes sense when you remove the anti-halation layer. But my understanding is some of the classic IR films had little or no AH layer? So removing it can sort of match that "glow-ey" look of the old films. The Rollei IR isn't as grainy as Efke and seems to have greater resolution, so lith printing it can give more grit/grain. I've heard of things like putting metallic silver tape on your pressure plate to get that look, but what little I tested pre-washing the Rollei, there was a lot of halation.
