How many cameras do you own?

Apart from the stuff from my great-grandfather (8x10 without lens, Kodak Panoramic No. 2, 9x12 cm "detective", Kodak Autographic Brownies, all broken) and various cardboard or bakelite box cameras that use 127 film, my users are:

Leica M2, M3, M6 TTL (+ Voigtländer 15, 21, 28, 75, Leica/Leitz 35, 35, 50, 50, 50, 28-35-50, 90, 90, 135, 200)
Rollei 35 B and 35 SE
Hasselblad X-pan (45 mm only)
Voigtländer Bessa-L
Polaroid 600 SE (75, 127, 150, Polaroid and 6x7 6x9 roll film backs)
Polaroid 195 (and a crate full of 104's, 250's, 320's, 110A's, a 900 and a 120)
Polaroid Miniportraits 4x5 and 3,25x4,25, four or two shots per sheet (another crate)
Bronica EC and ECTL (50, 75, 80, 150, 250)
Graflex Pacemaker Crown Graphic Special (90, 135)
Cambo (aka Calumet) SC 4x5/5x7 (90, 150, 240)
(and one digital Leica Digilux I, which is my wife's camera)

Sorry to keep editing this message. Every time I post it, I remember another camera in a closet somewhere. A real case of GAS, I fear.

Sorry, should've explained. Ikelite is a maker of underwater housings: these are the rigid type, with O-ring seals and 'manipulators' so that you can work at least the main camera controls from outside the housing. Being O-ring sealed they work best fully submerged rather than in the splash zone.

35mm - Pentax KX, six prime lenses from 16mm-135mm and one 35-80 zoom. Minox 35GT.
MF - Rolleiflex, Agfa folder, Mamiya 645 1000S with two prime lenses, two Holga cameras
4x5 - Osaka with a Schneider APO Symmar 210.
That's it. I'm getting rid of the 35mm stuff as well as the Mamiya and the folder. I'll keep the Rollei, Holgas, and the 4x5. For MF I'm buying a Hasselblad with an 80 and 150mm setup. So eventually I'll have five cameras.

140 the last time I counted. Probably near 160 now. Added a second Agfa Super Silette with carry case an hour ago. I know I didn't need it, but it only cost $19.00 and in excellent condition!

Of course I use them all.

Well, I will use them all someday. Honest.

Bought as my starter a Nikon F75
then inherited from relatives the following oncethey heard i was taking up photography.
2 number 1958 Minolta Autowide. complete with cases and coloured filters and lens hoods in full working order and old sync flash
1 number Agfa Super Silette (need a clean but mechanically seems ok)
1 number 1958 Agfa Silette Vario in pristine condition including box and colour contrast filters!

I must get myself a light meter somewhere to figure out how to take a few snaps with the silettes. One thing I have noticed is once you get an old camera in your hands the urge to take pictures is great and I can see why there are old camera addicts out there collecting left right and centre.

If we're talking 35mm: Agfa Optima IIS... 2.8/45mm Color Apotar in a Prontormator shutter & "Magic Release Lever"!

How could you need anything more than the "technically perfect camera"?

Gawd how I loathe 35mm format now that my eyes have gone to the dark side... I can barely make out the details on a 4x5 contact print. Anyone have an extra Banquet Camera they aren't using?

Got to agree. Since the Deardorff V-8 showed up, even the rb67 looks..... puny.

I can't remember the last time I printed or scanned a 135 negative. I actually only run color through my Zorki 1 and let the drug store process it. The Nikon hasn't been out in months.

I also have a Polaroid passport camera and a Polaroid 340 automatic Land Camera, but I haven't ever used them, nor do I think I ever will. The aiming lights on the passport camera don't work, so the thing won't fire, and if I am going to use a Land Camera, I would rather get one of the ones that has a decent lens and manual exposure control (although I did manage to find a source for the battery). These were both gifts from friends.

Plus various pinholes and a toy camera that takes four pix in a grid on the same 35mm frame. Also, can't forget the camera on my $17.00 cell phone, the pix from which I cannot figure out how to get off of the camera.

Planned purchases within the next year or two:

Canon G9 - I would LOVE a digital point and shoot for a lot of what I m currently shooting, and this one seems to be the most controllable
Nikon D40x - so I can use my NAI lenses, and because I will be moving toward Nikon for digital in the future (but keeping 10D until it dies)
Mamiya M645 Pro or Pro TL - will relegate 1000S to backup duty in favor of a camera with backs
Sinar P 8x10 standard, and hopefully a 5x7 reducing back for it as well (have rented a few times and fell in love, but it's too expensive)

...all used, of course.

2F/2F, haven't you got your dates wrong.

Was the Leica IIIa really a 1951 model and the IIIc 1931. My IIa was made in 1931.

Thanks, Ian. I switched them. It's been edited now. For some reason I listed them by which model came first in history, but always consider the C to be "my" Leica, as the A is a recent acquisition (got it mainly for the beautiful scratched-up Summar on it), so when I went back and added the dates I put the '51 first. Thanks for the note, and good eye.
