Hard to believe that I currently own 19 large format/ULF cameras. Guess I am rather "into" them. That said I cannot hold a candle to the number of lenses that Ole owns. He is really over the top.....

Ralph,

Wouldn't surprise me. Especially if the serial number begins with 69...

Anyway, the FM2n finally arrived on Friday... Currently loaded with Fujichrome Velvia 50II and with a MD-12 and an 85f1.8 AI'd Nikkor mounted.

I don't really own that many lenses, it's just that they're spread over the whole spectrum from 1840 to 2004, from 47mm to 640mm...

I do confess to owning 11 casket sets, as I found when I took them all out to take pictures of them...

And about 15 plate/LF cameras - from 4.5x6cm to 30x40cm.

My 'little collection' seems to be getting bigger, I recently added the EOS 3...

Nikon F100
Canon AV-1 (x2)
Canon AE-1 Program
Canon EOS 30
Canon EOS 3
Canon 20* - I don't want to get banned for mentioning this one :D

And, while I was at Glazer's Camera in Seattle, WA, picking up said N8008, I wound up putting $30 down on an F4s that they offered to me for $175.00.

Ugh, I have NAS bad...

John,

It is truly amazing that you have bought and sold so many cameras. However, what is even more amazing is that you kept such good records.

John,

It's almost scary. I guess I get bored fairly easily and decide to replace a body with something different. But, like I said on Nikonians, I'm rethinking my strategy. If I see gear that's going @ thrift store prices, I may pick it up, but I won't be trading the keepers away...

*sigh* About 3 hours after I typed my last message, my .sig grew... Nikon F5 for $275+tax. Paying it off, like I did my F4s. Hope to have it in the bag by October sometime.

Far too many for the amount of usage they are getting at the moment in what they laughingly call a Summer here in the U.K, and it was the same last year the only way you could tell it was Summer, was that the rain was warmer !

My better half wants me to trim my collection - The Mamiya definitely goes once I have filters and a 150mm for the Haselblad. The 35mm gear doesn't get much use. The rest stays... Less is more. She is right, I think. Unless you like to own many cameras, of course.

Let me see... not including cell phones :- 3 x MF, 5 x 35mm film SLRs, 2 x 35mm rangefinders, 2 x digital SLRs, 2 x compact digitals (p&s), 1 x prosumer digital compact, making a total of 15 imaging devices. Sorry, make that 16 - I also have my first camera, a Box Brownie.

Cheers, Bob

(Deep breath)

Three Nikons -- 2 FEs, 1 F100
Five TLRs -- three Minolta Autocords (only one works) and two Yashicas (a 124G and a 12, maybe the 12 still works)
A folder (Zeiss Ikonta) and a Gevabox box camera
Two pinholes -- a simple can and a pinhole blender (fun!)
Two Holgas
A graflex 35mm that I have yet to try
And on the way ... a 4x5 Crown Graphic!

I guess that makes 16 cameras. I probably use half of them on a semi-regular basis.
