Find out who is sharpening the cutters in small commercial printers shops and you'll find top quality people who sharpen all sizes of cutters.

Absolutely, British made! I would get a 15 inch just to give yourself more room.

I have all kinds of swing arm cutters and molded plastic tipes and sizes, but I simply wanted a dedicated Rototrim for paper and film negatives cut from 8"x10" media for sheet film holders.

Larger materials can be handled well enough by other methods, but cutting 3.25"x4.25"paper negatives from a roll of 5"x7" paper is speedier and more precise with the smaller primer.

Clean cut edges are a must for loading and simply could not afford a larger cutter that might get used for thicker, larger materials.

8"x10" is easier to keep aside for this one important job, IMO.
