Don't generalise, for the Netherlands, you can drop of E6 in over 500 HEMA stores and pick them up a couple of days later for €4... Developing is done by Fujifilm.
interesting, do they develop formats other than 35mm ?

There's a little more to that story. Let's say that for E6 it's a little less clear cut than that.
Yes, 120.
In principle they could do 4x5 in C41 and B&W as well, but not through HEMA. Maybe some other outlets; I've not looked into it.
If wishes were horses... c-41 film without the mask!

Exactly - and with almost the same challenges with inversion when you attempt to digitize it.why would you want C-41 film with Built in errors?

Please define HEMA?
Is that a phoenix? If so, does it signify the resurrection of a product from the past?
I wouldn't be surprised if this is connected with Alaris' decision to cut prices on Kodak Gold, to fill everyone's freezers before the Ilford product hits the market, just in time for Christmas.
It'd be fantastic if a new, affordable Cibachrome chemistry and quality archival papers was in the offering!
Check Nordfoto.Just checked Macodirect and Fotoimpex and a brick of Gold 200 in 120 is 66 Euros. Sorry but no.

Interesting possibility, but when are those gold 200 price cuts hitting the stores?

If it's really a colour film and Harman can do better than that price-wise I WILL fill my fridge with their stuff and bid a final farewell to Kodak (I had long abandoned the BW range and was only shooting their gold, ektar and ultramax stuff).
I really doubt that Harman will begin with products that match Color Plus, Ultramax, Portra 160 and Ektar.
Kodak-Alaris have said that the price changes will be reflected when retailers have sold existing stock and restocked at the new prices.
Though Kodak currently has such a range of colour film, I really doubt that Harman will begin with products that match Color Plus, Ultramax, Portra 160 and Ektar....all of which I use.
They only need to offer something that matches ColorPlus 200, or Gold. If it's priced competitively, people will buy it. Besides, it is ColorPlus and Gold that are the best sellers, being unavailable for extended periods. I have never seen the Portras and Ektar being unavailable at various major European retailers for some years now. People don't necessarily care about the finest grain or the best pallette, there's digital for this, where you're few clicks away.
It's going to be a more mainstream product that would appeal to Harman's perceived target audience in the popular social media channels. Then again as others here have said that Harman's use of social media for PR is somewhat lacking. I feel that we are a bit of an edge case for Harman or perhaps they take us, as Ilford customers, for granted.A genuine Lith. film and matching chemistry would be a lovely Christmas present from Harman.
Something on the lines of the old Kodalith film.
