I hope we get a cloudy day soon - I've got to get back in the darkroom! And I've got to get my darkroom dark, hence the need for clouds...

Think duct tape Ole. this way you can tape the leaks.

How about making it so that the first exchaznge is completed by the end of June. that gives us all a bit of time to get organized and the printing done. I have some printed now, but then I tend to over do. (no laughing from the postcarders)

That would probably be a good idea.

I will get all of the contact info sent out this weekend and participants may send out their prints anytime between now and the end of June.

Leon, with the later due date should I include you in this round?

Thanks!!

we've just heard from our solicitor that we will not be be moving until june 11th. My fiancee tells me that fitting a new kitchen and reparing the back windows of the new house is much more important than re-setting up my darkroom (I beg to differ but dont dare to tell her that!!!) so probably best to count me out until next time - sorry!

Leon,
Good call! After 34 years of marriage, I have fully accepted the fact that:
"I'd rather be HAPPY than RIGHT!"

We look forward to your being able to particpate!!

My prints are in the wash right now. I'm honestly too tired to judge if they are worthy of sending out. If they look good when I have both eyes open at the same time, I'll mount and mail them this week.

I've got David's address from the portfolio list, I'll need the 411 from mobtown_4x5 & L Gebhardt

Hey, guys -

I'm sorry to have to do this, but I've had a major financial blow this weekend (ex-husband is to thank for that) and I'm going to have to pass on the group print exchange for now. Sorry to throw the groups off.

I did individual exchanges with a few people prior to the group exchange discussion, and those prints will go out in the next few days.

Thanks, and sorry.

The address list for each group has been sent out via PM. If you did not receive one please let me know.

I got this done at work today so that I can go back into the darkroom after work tonight

Thanks!

For my prints mounted at 11x14, I have been using Priority Mail boxes from the post office. I seal the ends with the print sandwiched inbetween and mail it flat.

The PM that was sent out said prints should be sent out by the end of May, yet one of the previous messages indicated end of June.

I'm assuming June, since the message did have some positive feedback.

Am I wrong? Go on, tell me I'm wrong. I dare you!

Yes Ken, your are correct.

The PM should have said the end of JUNE, my mistake.

That's what happens when I post while working............

Thanks for clearing that up Jim!

I had to remove my temperature control unit for servicing, and unfortunately I only have one set of shutoff valves - so I can't turn the water back on until the unit is reinstalled, which won't be for about two weeks :-(

So you can understand my consternation at the May deadline :-D

I'd like in too

If there is room, I'd like in too. Don't get much of a chance to see real prints out here in the sticks (Cambridge, Iowa)

Thanks,
Matt

My prints for the exchange are currently in the washer.

I'll give them the weekend to dry, mount them on Monday, and they should be in the mail before the end of the week.

Thanks again to everyone for supporting this exchange.

This is 'gunna be fun

I hope noone minds terribly much - but you'll be getting cyanotypes this time. Tea-toned 5x7" ones. The first batch was a tad overexposed, so I'm just about to do them again. It's so much easier then getting my darkroom lightproof with all this sunshine

Yep, end of June.

Don't feel bad. I thought I was done but my Daughter and I went out photographing today (yep you guessed it, back Downtown  ) and I took a photograph that I really like and have decided to use it for the exchange instead of the ones I already have done.

So It looks like they might not make it out this week.

I can't wait - I have until the end of May to get mine in the mail. Then I go off to work for an undetermined time: Probably two weeks, possibly three, four not impossible. So I want to get these off before it's too late...
