Hello everybody o/
I've come across APUG several times during the past months; some how I always end up here when I search info on dev process, chemicals or dev or photography gear. Today I decided it's time to sign in so here I am.
Something about me... I'm a 26 yo gal from northern Finland. In addition to my full-time job in sports technology company, I also work as freelance (web) designer. I've been taking analog photographs since last fall (2009) and I've developed my own film (b&w and color) since December. I've always been interested in cameras and photography but I didn't have a proper camera (Nikon D60) until in 2008. In 2009 I upgraded to D80 and then I got interested in analog stuff. I had already collected quite many manual lenses for both Nikon F and M42 mount so it was easy to jump into the analog world. I'd like to get to the point where I don't need my digital camera anymore.
At the moment I have six analog cameras and a bunch of lenses and other gear. I shoot both 135 and 120 formats. I've listed my analog camera bodies in the signature. Nikon F100 is my newest purchase and I think it'll become my main camera along with Mamiya M645. I'm in love with them both.
So far I've used Rodinal for b&w developing and Tetenal chemicals for color developing. Next I will test D-76 for b&w and Fuji (or Kodak) for color. I'm developing by hand with a small tank (I have both AP and Paterson tank). I'm still in the process of finding my favourite films, I've shot too little to really know.
I'm a tech geek by heart so I tend to list the gear and chemicals in the photo descriptions.
