Amy:

My sincere condolences. I consider myself fortunate to have met and interacted with Ted as we shared a previous life working with energy and had a common passion for photography. I will always remember his warm smile and most importantly his contagious laugh. Ted was a class act that will be greatly missed.

If there is anything that WE can do for you please let us know.

I had always hoped to meet Ted in person. My communications with him through PM and email were always wonderful. I could tell he was a good man.

So sorry to hear he has passed. my thoughts and prayers are with you and family, Amy.

I didnt know him at all, but I am sorry for your loss. Sounds like he was a great guy.

If I had a hat, I would take it off now for you, Ted. Thanks for all the good advice I got. Rest in peace.

I am shocked. I've conversed with Ted on scanners and he was the foremost expert on the topic. His knowledge will be greatly missed.

Amy,
I am saddened by your loss. Actually the whole photographic community has this loss. I did not know Ted personally but I knew him photographically and I will miss his joy and knowledge.

I still have no idea what to say about this news, except to offer my condolences.

I'm literally speechless.

This is very sad news. I had the opportunity to get know Ted over the last few months and found him to be a very honorable, decent sincere guy.
My condolences to his family.

I was stunned to read this news. I was disappointed to miss the Toronto sessions and I was following with interest the gathering last weekend. My sincere condolences to you Amy.

My condolences to the entire family. I never met Ted face to face, but I did share email correspondence on occasion. He was always friendly, helpful and professional. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Amy,
Ted was a kind man, generous with his knowledge, time and equipment. His enthusiasm for life and his passion for photography were so evident. Whether busy tending to details and photographing at a View Conference, responding to emails or organizing workshops in New Hampshire, he seemed to be able to find time to encourage a new photographer with whatever was needed-a few words of advice, a review of a portfolio, one on one time with equipment or an introduction to another member of the photographic community. Ted was always willing to give.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. Ted will be missed by the community.
Cory

Please accept my condolences. I always respected Ted's opinions and comments on all photography discussions.

I met Ted last year in Louisville and will think of him often. His commitment to and love of photography and the people who practice it was obvious to anyone who ever met him. My condolences.

Dear Amy,

My sincere respects and condolences from a fellow amateur photographer.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have only met Ted once last summer and had a wonderful time in his company. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in this time of loss.

We never met, but he provided a lot of friendly and good advice on this forum and LFinfo. Great guy, and the response is testament to his involvement with this community of photographers.

Like others we never met, but all the contact I had with Ted was always always good humoured and appreciated. I wish I'd had a chance to meet him in person and not just talk online.

Best wishes Amy and the rest of the family, Ted was a real gent.

Ian
