And as for magenta, a former member here asserted that our best known resident photographic engineer was wrong, and magenta actually doesn't exist.
Don't you have bi-directional* satellite internet connections? You don't need to be physically connected to an internet service provider to have broadband access.
Here in Italy I have a friend who lives somehow "in the countryside" (not what an American would think when he thinks countryside. Let's say, a small centre with no cable high-speed provider) and he installed this bi-directional satellite device at basically the same cost of a normal internet connection. There is an upper bandwidth limit but is very large.
* Bi-directional. Old type satellite connection required a phone line for the upload. Satellite was used only for download. Internet connections need constant bi-directional link so one had to keep his phone line engaged (or use his ADSL upload stream in any case) in order to use the satellite stream. Modern systems allow upload by satellite and can be used in the middle of nowhere.
A member, presumably during one of those interminable technical discussions, argued that magenta is not a colour. He certainly did not mean there isn't a colour that people call magenta. He was certainly talking about primary colours*, colour theory, and something like that. Nominalistic quarrels are uninteresting in any case. This particular quarrel was probably originated by one of those long thread where everything becomes object for specious distinctions. It's, again, "human behaviour".
* magenta is a primary colour in subtractive synthesis so he must have actually meant something different.
Gotcha, thanks all who answered, I would have retorted with a response that "yellow" is actually the color that doesn't exist... Which is at least to some extent more true haha ;-p just to start a new ridiculous argument haha (I'm trouble).

If you put any color into a box and seal it, is it really that color? Or is it both a color and a non-color? Is it a dead color or an alive color? A muted or vibrant color?

Well, the idea is that you don't take it out of the box, it's a paradox I set it up wrong, it should be...
If you leave an unexposed piece of film in a light proof box, but put a lightbulb inside on a timer that will go off randomly over the next 50 years and you leave the box outside in the sun, over the course of 50 years the film can be both exposed or not exposed at the same time and we can't be sure so you have to think of the film as both exposed and unexposed in the same instance. So it's a paradox. Sure you can add, is the film exposed as magenta or yellow or brown if you want, by saying there are 2 lightbulbs that are coated in red/yellow and you don't know which one has gone off if any or both so the film can be thought of as both unexposed/exposed/red/yellow/brown all at once
I think I just blew my own mind! My paradox is even better than Schrödinger's Cat!

A battery? And the sun adds a heat and radiation factor to the film's life expectancy.
