??? Can you elaborate?

Thanks

The original is set in Belgium, dialog is in Flemish with some French and English thrown in. And the acting and production are superior in comparison. The English version is practically a carbon copy. There is a German version, too.

Ah, OK. It was the use of the word blasphemy that threw me It looked like a very harsh word to use for the British version of this programme.

The recent (English) "Professor T" has a scene in a red lit darkroom with reminiscing older characters making portraits on film in the darkroom. Sometimes with the (Pentax?) camera just a couple of inches from the (perfectly focused) subject. Duh. But: the red light erases a lot of wrinkles.

Could be a Pentax:

Forgot about Alice's restaurant, haven't seen the movie but heard the song today
I think it's a crown or speed graphic producing the 27 8x10 color photos with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back

I thought the typical photographer trope is that trenchcoat and feodora type with a huge Graflex and a "press" ID in the hat band?

This photo plays a big role in the original Final Fantasy VII. In the developed photo, the main character is mysteriously replaced with another person.

One of the main characters in FLCL likes to use Olympus XAs and SLRs.
