i´m at home now.
i will have to make some indoor shots because my leg is in a big plaster only for lie around and getting to the toilet .

cycling is now over for longer time because my femorral is broken two times short above the knee and the parts of the bone have split up my patella .

so lets do 2 gypsum shots and move the camera further :D.

sorry for the longest delay of this camera.

regards (and thankyou for all the posts)

thomas

I seriously feel your pain amigo. Many years ago, I broke my right femur in so many places that the surgeon removed 70% of the bone and replaced it with a steel rod. I also have a hip replacement. This was one of the very first surgery of its kind, and it it still painfull on certain days. Had the accident in 1970, just before my birthday in April, left hospital in August of that year. I was going home from a going away party some friends threw me for enlisting in the army. I never served my hitch after that. I'll pray for your healing, get better soon, and stay off the leg so it will heal properly.

Thomas,

I will let you know when you have caused the longest delay of the camera. It's my job. And you're not even close.

You WILL take these pictures and one day... you WILL ride again.

The spirit is not defeatable. Or is it defeetable?

Great, I'm next in line. I've refrained from using the bike this week, in anticipation of the camera. Nothing broken yet. If it stays that way, the camera's journey can continue without too much interruption. :whistling:

Good God, he's omniscient!

Today was listed as Mostly Sunny. Yeah, except for that dense layer of FOG that has blanketed the region all day...
Well, I have high hopes for the weekend.

Might need to head to North Bend to get high enough above the frog. Or, come out to my place. Wasn't foggy up on the hill.

Camera 8.1 update...

I took the Nikon out to shoot last weekend. Found a lovely image of a group of bare trees with white bark. Switched on the camera, aimed, pressed the shutter button, nothing happened. Tried again. Nothing happened. <sigh...>

When I had a chance I looked up the L35AF user manual online. It says that if the popup flash is left up the battery will drain. Ah. Dead battery. Also I notice the battery door is a little loose, so some discrete electrical tape seems next to be in order.

I'm planning a short trip up to the Skagit Valley early next week, I ought to get my shots then.

Not yet, the mobility of the Canon is limited by the limited mobility of Thomas.

(Besides, we wouldn't want the camera to get lost between all the season's greetings :whistling:. These are busy times for the mailmen and women...)

All in good time. As soon as there's a status change, I'll post it here.

Well I don't know which camera I had. I think someone figured it was one of the 6's. Anyway I finally found it and passed it on to Martin Bennett. He has another apug camera as well so both will be sent out by him. Finally, I can get a good nights sleep :whistling:

Well, the real question is how long will a latent image of a unicorn last on film, if this is indeed the lost camera 7?

How Martin B. got the camera would take several hours of research. I have asked Eric to kindly forward my address on to Martin and send whatever to me so I can sort them all out.

The camera is not one of the let's all shoot 1 ...

Tim,

I'm sending you a PM, but this cam is not one of the lost Let's All Shoot 1 Camera. It is a Bell and Howell. I think it's one of those chaotic cams. I'll get the film developed before it goes missing for a year again and make sure it gets on it's merry way.
