First test of Hasselblad CFV16 Digital Back, 4x5 Sinar Norma as a Retro Technical Camera. 47mm F8 Norma Recessed Custom Board, 65mm F8 Norma Super Angulon, 75mm F5.6 Norma Super Angulon, and this one, taken with 90mm F5.6 Norma Super Angulon. Fifteen Seconds at F22, lens precisely focused on the loupe in center back. Could use a bit more DOF the back is set to fifteen seconds in the menu. It's finally ALIVE!!!! Special Hasselblad Cable connects the Digital Back to the Sinar Norma Shutter. I take the Norma Shutter out when I am using the 47mm F8.

I'm starting to use this CFV16 Hasselblad Fat Pixel setup and I really like it. The Norma Super Angulons are sharp and contrasty, and I can apply all camera movements precisely if I desire. So also I am repurposing what I already have. With the Norma Shutter and Auto Aperture Mickey Mouse Aperture Controlled Norma Lenses (matching complete set), this will do everything I want, and is FUN to use.

A Matching Trio of Kern Arau Apo-Repro Lenses. These three are in the Norma Catalog and I've finally found all three. Need to do some metalwork to attach them to these correct Norma Boards. On two of them I have removed the Aperture Control Mechanisms and finished up the holes. I'll be using these, the 210mm F6.8, the 300mm F9, and the 360mm F11.

Apples in a Bowl. Plaubel Automatic Makiflex, 240mm F5.5 Schneider Tele-Arton, eight seconds at F/16, 9x12cm EFKE PL100 film developed in ADOX-Borax film developer. Scanned on Epson 4490. Lens focused on stem of the apple in the very front.

Reshoot using the 4x5 Sinar Norma as a Retro Technical Camera. Hasselblad CFV16 Reshoot Ei 50. Hurray! No more HOT pixels, they are gone in this latest capture. This is F45 with the Chrome Sinar Norma 75mm F4.5 Schneider Super Angulon, mounted with Mickey Mouse Ears for behind the camera adjustment possible. The FOBA Diffusing Cone makes a nice abstract plant holder. Made of thick acrylic, beautiful for Micro Compositions. Beautiful close-up lighting. 1600J Broncolor Hazylight Primo2 Pack. 3x4 Foamcore sheet down low, angled to reflect soft fill light from below. Broncolor Boxlite 40 units left and right of the dome, creating nice catchlights from left and right, without overpowering the lighting above,

Phase ! 4x5 Hasselblad V Rapid Adapter, attached to 1960's Sinar Norma 4x5 with Norma Pan Tilt Head. I masked down the edges on the glass, to the dimensions of the 37x37cm chip, and then also masked off the edges of the ground glass, there was too much backlight coming in to view properly. Now it is working perfectly with the Hasselblad CFV16 Digital Back. The Sinar Norma Shutter is connected to the back via a Hasselblad Cable which plugs into the back. I'm currently using the Hasselblad Stovepipe Viewfinders (I have several) for viewing the groundglass precisely. This digiphoto made with Broncolor Octobox 150 with 150 Grid creates beautiful catchlights. Background is Tim Kelly Beige by David Maheu.

Santa dropped this down the chimney today. Broncolor Fibrolite with four Light Pipes and Four Optical Lenses. It's a rental, so it shows some use. This is going to be fun. Takes 3200J Broncolor Pack, I will either use my Primo 4, or my Graphit 4.

It took me fifteen minutes of struggling with the push buttons all four at once, then lifting the cover with that third hand of yours. Sheesh! Looks all good AOK to me. Houston we are go for activation. I think I can make some kind of small clamps, either with parts I have, or perusing World of Used Photography for pieces/parts. Filter holders can wait.
