I'll check Leon's page of B&Bs next week.
Not low surely, I'm looking forward to meeting her, ( and the other 1st timers) and hearing her stories of life in the journalistic fast lane.
although with the news that Ailsa is now foot-loose and fancy-free in a manner of speaking who knows what could develop.
Am I missing something...?
Yeah, but there are some AMAZING church interiors in the Marsh. (Until 2002 I used to live about 5 miles from David Bebbington, on the coast at Minnis Bay, 13 miles from Canterbury)If Dave Miller wishes for more discussion rather than haring off into the woods to snap everything that moves, shall we pray for rain? Then nobody will want to venture forth to Romney Marsh or anywhere else! The marsh can be a bleak, bleak place as the wind howls across the open spaces! I know, used to go fishing there as a boy.
Indeed. It topped 30C here in The Centre Of The Universe yesterday and is expected to do the same today. Has been fine for a few days now.Mentioning rain reminds me, here in middle England it's hot and the sun is shining - whatever happened to summer?
No, no, no... When it's very hot it's called "global warming". When it's piddling down or we get a hard winter then it's called "climate change".
Try and keep up!

Do please bring the old prints. I'd love to see them.
It might also make up for my portfolio; at this rate I'll be showing more repeats than UKTV Gold!
Also, if you are planning to eat there, the Manager recommends booking the dinner when you book the rooms as the restaurant gets booked up very quickly.
hi everyone - regarding dinner. As I posted originally, the landlord said he'd like to take individual bookings when you book your room as the restaurant is popular and fills quickly. He wasnt willing to take a large mass booking from me I'm afraid so you'll need to book individually.
I reckon a trip from Faversham to Reculver taking in Seasalter and Whitstable along the way would be a nice leisurely saturday.
Tnx for that: very interesting. I guess the Faversham court building must have once been the old covered market judging by the look of it?not sure which direction ( leon ? ) was going to point people in but i got on my bike earlier today , no not the wife , no norman tebbits either , and went in the direction of faversham and whitstable , and i have left a few pics at ( not sure if i can do this but ) www.flickr.com/photos/donutdog .
