this is fascinating. I'd be unable to do this, but stand in awe at your reports!
Glad I sold my T90s as I'd be tempted to fix them and I know I would not be able to go that deep!
At least I was able to fix a variant of the EEE/HELP error.Hello Andreas.
I've carefully read the complete report on the camera repair, and I think you must feel great personal satisfaction for having been able to resolve the dreaded and unknown "HELP" "EEE" problem on the Canon T90.
What is the problem with the battery compartment?By the way, I went to the trouble of searching eBay to buy the battery compartment, as it's another weak point of this camera,
Will you try to fix the error?and I can assure you that most of them have the same "EEE" problem.
Right now, I have two units that don't work, and I'll wait a while to see if I decide to buy another one, but this time I'll make sure to see that it works properly.
Best regards.
The batteries were sulfated, and the acid prevented the drawer from opening properly. So, when I opened it, the support broke. I have to say I don't have the necessary skills to do the tremendous work you've done, but I'm incredibly grateful. Best regards.
Hello Andreas
I just received a roll of 200 ISO film shot on a Canon T90, and it produced 18 blurred photos and six well-exposed ones. I thought I could get one of the two cameras I bought working properly, even though the message "HELP" "EEE" appears after each shot. I had read somewhere that pressing the battery check button cleared the error message, readying it for the next frame. I noticed they don't have light seals on the rear door guides, so I don't know if that's the problem. Best regards.
