Haven't drilled a hole in it yet, it's still keeping some of my ammo dry.

But I suppose if one wanted to... well, pre-mount a roll of film in plastic slide mounts and . . . Just process the film right in the slide mounts.

I tried that with chain-fed 120 slide mounts in an automated pinhole based on a 50-caliber ammo cannister, and it didn't work well. The plastic slide mounts tend to set up vortex patterns, resulting in uneven development, JD.

I did like the carpeting on your wall and the anti-gravity mount on your pinhole "lens", though.

The whole thing is anti-gravity and gyro stabilized so ya don't need a pod, just velcro one side so you can stick it to the carpet on your walls.

A pane of sealed glass on the front, a water-tight cable connection for the hole flap and some lead in the box... voila... the Cousteau-Gagnan pinhole! Perfect for my next bridge inspection.

Arigram, the medium size ammo boxes hold 4x5 and 5x7 film holders just perfectly. Air tight and water tight. Paint them white and they stay cool.

Yes, every camera should have some heavy fleece padding around the eyepiece.

Those ammo boxes are pretty usefull. When I assisted, my assistant friend kept his cameras in it. Lined it with wood/foam. NOBODY messed with him in the subway.

I have a pix of me almost exactly like that one. I think when you get a Hassy, everyone does one of those pix in the mirrors. If it wasn't for the short hair, I thought that was me cause it looked exactly like mine.

Yep, I used to tote my Minolta SRT and a Strobonar flash into quite a few caves with one of those. It was dropped a few times and did more damage to the cave than to the equipment.

This is the M3 my father left me pursuant to his Will. Minty except for the back door which has lost some paint. Attached to it is his dual range 50mm Summicron from the 50s.

Oh, yes! My father taught me how to shoot photographs, develop film, and make prints in his darkroom when I was 11 years old. The initial main inducement was the superb images he captured with his M3 and associated lenses--reality nabbed with incredible optic quality. I bought my own Leica equipment 7 years ago and will never switch to another manufacturer!

This probably amounts to piling on at this point...But Ralph that's a fantastic image. It's fun to see all the gear people are working with, but Ralph's image is more than that...a true piece of visual poetry about the work we do.
