I appreciate all the comments on the Tachi/Leica shot. None of my cameras get "fondled", they all work for a living. But, they do sometimes seem to take on a character of their own sometimes, and that's what I was trying to express in the image.

I think my cameras will feel dwarfed after seeing what the majority of you shoot. And having never seen anyone shoot with a 4x5 field camera before, I must say I'm absolutly amazed at how small they appear. I would have thought they were alot bigger. Now you've all made me go back and ponder what camera to buy next, just after I had 'decided'!

My main shooter, and my sentimental piece of history

Scolding?

My immediate thoughts on Ralph's shot was that the view camera was imparting his wisdom to the younger camera who was listening intently (I know they are probably about the same age, but the view camera just looks so much wiser)...

Had to add a photo of my most used cameras and the free camera I got for my girlfriend for Christmas.

I could imagine a yellow power-paisley body cover for a Leica M limited edition, but paisley bellows would add a whole new dimension to being a stylish LF photographer! Or, how about a camouflage design for the stealthy LFer?

Barrie, you'll need to share your hard drive with us if we are to see your camera

Actually I didn't see the file name until after the above post! I grew up with one of these cameras.

Just guessing by the front panels... a Pentax H1a.

You guessed it! Great little camera. Used to carry it with me just about everywhere. Doesn't see much action lately.

Here's a scan of a crappy 669 Polaroid print of my Century 4a. The lens is a very old B&L Symmetrical (a Rapid Rectilinear type) in a Century shutter.
