Buying from Svema


Well, that's way more promising that I'd expected. This looks like it was shot in the shade ... what are the results like in direct sun?

I need to throw a few rolls of this into my next order and give this a try. I'm curious what the spectral sensitivity curve looks like, and how deep the IR sensitivity goes!

This might give me an excuse to dust off my spectrosensitometer project and actually get it put together, especially now that I have a 3D printer and can build it as something other than an ugly lash-up
 
I'm not sure what happened, but I noticed just now that Svema's Instagram is down. When I go to their page, I get "The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed" and their account is greyed out and labelled "Instagram user" in my DMs. I was messaging them this morning and I wonder what happened.

The first thought that came to my mind was drafting into the army. This is Ukraine and it is quite possible. But I want to say that if I saw a reliable partner in Svema, I would have sold this film in the USA a long time ago.

Got my order awhile ago. Shot a couple rolls of the A-2SH. It's pretty nice. Shot a roll at EI 320, developed in XTOL stock. Here's one of the shots.
