I also placed an order with them, it looks like they shipped it on the same day. Mine is going to the States—I want to avoid VAT. I'll admit, the bank transfer to a private account was a tad sketchy, but I am hopeful.
war is Donbass and south only, for some reason rail and road infrastructure elsewhere hasn´t been destroyed, like for instance in Serbia in 1999 where bombings were comprehensive. Shostka isn´t in the area under war also.I have ordered 2-3 times from Ukraine since the start of the war - the postal service works surprisingly well in this reality. Tracking stops at the step you show until it enters your country - this may take a while.
An interesting point is that everything I have ordered is tax pre-paid - I receive the shipments directly with no tax avoidance.
I didn't know that Svema still produced film material. I know Tasma is still in business, but they are located in Tatarstan.
I would be interested to know if everything is ok with your order.
It's probably all set up through eBay because I've ordered through that platform and they just take their fees at checkout.
This is only peripherally attached to the topic
Any word on the arrival of your films?
My box arrived yesterday
Nope, but in the States there usually isn't unless it's over $1600.no VAT added by customs either?
What is Polyox-100? Polyethylene glycol 4000?developer recommendation: the 120 box mentions 6mn in Rodinal or UP-5. Well well well, UP-5 is a soviet formula meant for high contrast/aerial/technical film. Formula (not provided, but it is everywhere on runet), for 1 liter:
- metol 6g
- hydroquinone 8g
- methylphenidone 0,8g
- sodium sulfit 40g
- sodium carbonate 30g
- potassium bromide 3g
- Polyox-100 1g
- Trilon-B 2g
- benzotriazole 0,2g
Did the seller had any other versions of 120 mm format?

I know this is pedantry, but it is 120 film, not 120mm film. Not at the moment, only Foto 100 in 61.5mm at the moment. Maybe it could be possible to make 120mm in Photo 200, but MOQ is large, 200m

Can you tell what price you bought it for? And any contacts for this guy?
That's the guy who maintains the instagram page and afaik Dmytro's(one of the co-founders of Astrum) son. Astrum operated in the same way since early 2000s(they even had Aerochrome for 14$/roll in 2017, and I'm still mad I didn't buy it then), you had to know about them to find at least something about the company. Instagram appeared less than a year ago, so perhaps since Yegor knows a bit more about "computer" stuff, he accepts the international payments. That's just my speculation tho, and idk how this company operates internally- the guy behind "tibosha" mail is a clown, he tried to sell me magnetic tape for flight data recorders at 200$/km when I asked for regular "A" and "Б" types because "it matches the standards for both types", then he declined my request to provide Dmytro's number in a rude manner. The same day I contacted Dmytro, and two perfectly polite phone calls later my order waits for me in a post office near my home. I'll ask him about this after I receive the package, maybe he'll clear the things up a bit.private person, a Yegor in Kyiv

120mm film would be about 4.5 inches wide!
