I had the nice surprise of Tezzasmall's print in the box some minutes ago!

It is a cityscape from the "Isle of dogs", with a large place made to the foreground and sky, leaving the skyline in a long rectangle in the middle.

The tonal range is great, with a lot of dark tones, driving my eyes to the main subject.

Well done!

Glad to hear that my print has arrived with you Laurent and from what you write, I am happy that you liked your 'nice surprise'.

I am just looking, via another thread, at a way for me and others in these exchanges to upload our prints into one place, once received by the person it was sent to, rather than the odd picture being uploaded to a thread like this.

It appears that there is a folder for exchange pictures but that encompasses all pictures from all exchanges under on folder name, which in turn was a bit of a carry on to find without the feedback and help from another member.

In case anyone else is interested to upload their work to the current link, from these exchanges for us all to see, the link at the moment is: https://www.photrio.com/forum/index.php?media/categories/general-print-exchange-gallery.12/

Good but hope the stragglers get their act together!

I haven't received a print yet, but i'm already interested to join for BPX27

My 35mm enlarger is setup and i have a bunch of tmax100 negatives I'd love to try to print 24x30's from.

aww :-(

I haven't gotten a print in my mail yet and was wondering if something went wrong.

...Hope i didn't come across as impatient though! i realise its a hobby thingy

I got a really nice postcard in the mail from Uwe, I just had a very long day and this really cheered me up when i came home. Many thanks!

I received 2 nice prints from Laurent almost 2weeks ago by now. I feel a bit embarrassed that I'm only reporting back now. Merci Laurent! I like the speckled print too. It gives it an impressionist look.

Thanks Menno,

I started feeling concerned about the prints, so am glad you got them.

My apologies to Denny and Uwe. Life got in the way and I thought I mentioned I received the print from Locutus, but looks I didn't. Please accept my tardiness in acknowledging receiving the print from Denney (Locutus). Just looked at the list closer just now and realized my error. I really need to slow down

Sooo, I’m an idiot. It was my first BPX and I’ve been posting updates in the sign up thread! I received my print from black dog aaages ago, it’s a beautiful scene from a Normandy battlefield. Eventually I’ll get around to framing it, but I’m waiting until I move out of my student digs  thanks!

Daniel

I got a christmas present!

Gijsbert sent me three (!) real beautiful prints. I took my old copy of "Ansel Adams at 100" to compare the shot of El Captian with the one of 1942.
I was never in Yosemity, but I visited Iceland. But not the at isle of Vik. I enjoyed the rock needle and the basalt steles very much.
The third shot is a forest scene which is full of atmosphere.

But look for yourself:
