And they are still in the process of creating the sensitizers and other chemistry necessary in the background too, so when ready to make colour film, they will be able to, and coating plenty of P30 will iron out all the teething problems with the refurbished coater.some B&W films are already more than one layer, I may be wrong but I recall someone saying that P30 is at least two layers. so it is a part of the path to revisiting colour.
I wish them the very best.
My only negative thought is this.
If it is taking them this long and they have just produced a B&W film. How long will it take them to produce a C41 or E6 film?
I may know nothing of colour film manufacturing but I know it is very complicated and complex compared to B&W, which is also complex and complicated.
So with all the complexity and complication of film manufacturing, will they succeed? (I really hope so but..............................)
Nice!
So they even have a mini-coater besides the precision-coater (which allready is a small coater), this should help to reduce waste during R&D and they can run the precision-coater for P30 while working towards other emulsions on the mini-coater. It couldn´t be better than that i guess - they really saved the right equipment.
That is the general plan - test on the ring coater, then scale it to the precision coater.
Once the general making process is nailed down, we'll hire and train a couple of people to run the mechanical stuff, then switch our main scientists to R&D.

I am a buyer of your planned E-6

Also regards the last update, can you specify what the saved equipment that you installed is?That is the general plan - test on the ring coater, then scale it to the precision coater.

same hereI feel like this year is gonna be even more interesting than the last years...
Things are moving forward. Film is coming soon.

Best wishes to you, Ferrania —- I really liked P30, and hope to be able to buy more (bulk roll?) soon.
