I had to call and ask for mine again. Then it showed up three days later. Four rolls of 120.
You'reabout getting something for nothing?
Sounds like you need a 'tude tune up!![]()

Guess I was "disappointed" that I got film that is useless to me. I should have usednot
. I will find some at work to give the film to.

I got my 4 rolls of 35mm,asked for 120. I have not used 35mm for a few years.

Okay, this bugs me. Folks complaining because they got the wrong FREE film. Dang, find/borrow a camera that fits the film you got and go have fun. This cost you nothing and should free you up, help you to shoot loose and fancy free. Who knows you may find you like it.
Well, here is the deal, as I see it. The "free film" is supposed to go to professional working photographers, of which I am one. i requested 120 size, because that is the size I might actually use professionally. I could then try it out on my medium format equipment I use to earn money. While it is nice and fun to get "free film", sending 35mm, while great and all, does not give me the information I need to evaluate the film in my professional environment. I certainly have 35mm equipment, but I use it for personal projects, and i prefer to do those personal projects with film stocks other than color negative. So, by not sending out the size requested (and they did have a check box for requesting size), they are reducing their marketing efforts in regards pro users. I'm sure I will find "some" use for the 35mm, if for nothing more than to test out a new batch of mixed up C-41 chemistry before commiting valuable 4x5 negs to the processing. But I cannot tell how a film will look in my Hasselblad, by shooting it on my Nikkormat. As far as amateur/enthusiasts getting free film..yay, great, be happy with whatever you get, go out use it, have fun, make photos, life is good.

I recall responding that I am an amature....and they sent 120 film.

Interesting. I still think that there would be more "promotional" value to the free give-away if they matched requests to film size. Again, I am not knocking the concept of free film, no not at all. i got mine. I just can't evaluate it for professional use in regards my studio. I can only shoot it for fun. I will. I won't be purchasing any. Don't use C-41 in 35mm. Maybe shoot it up at Easter of family, or something. Got several hundred rolls of E-6 to go thru first, though for a personal project I am working on.
Never got it. Screw 'em....I haven't used Kodak products in over 35 years anyway.
I asked for 35mm and got 120. I used it as an excuse to pick up an old Super-Ricohflex tlr.Seems to me that I specified 120, yet got 35mm also. Probably will sit and expire as i shoot transparency film for color in 35mm.
