Likewise, a free-for-all sounds good to me, especially as this time around it's a weekday (i.e. working day)...

Just to let you all know, Sept 6th is a holiday (long weekend! yippee!) up here in Canuck land (don't know about the rest of the world, but hope it is for you(s) too) so you might see some blurry hangover  shots on the 7th. Actually I took the whole week off so it might be sometime before I post anything.
A free for all-no theme-what did you do and where-APUG's (2nd?) anniversery shoot out!
Wow what a concept! Bancroft here I come!
Brilliant original idea Aggie!

Great idea, I'm going on my annual camping trip next weekend and should be able to get some shots worthy of posting. Might take a few days before I get to developing the negatives and printing though.

Is the Anniversary Gallery supposed to be for photos taken on the day of the Anniversary? In that case, I think Andrew Firth seems to have had a very busy day...

Seems he must have been racing all over Scotland on Sept. 7, chasing the light, squeezing in still lifes and figure studies along the way. A heroic tribute to APUG for sure!

It is just the first gallery on the list. It is not meant to be the catch all photo gallery
look over the list of galleries and post in the appropriate one.

Doesn't time fly when you're having fun?! 7th September isn't far away... ...is this the third anniversary?

Anyone up for a shoot?!

Absolutely. It has been less than a year for me, but APUG has been a wonderful source of information and camaraderie for me that it feels like I have "known" everyone forever! Let's commemorate and celebrate!

Two weeks and counting to the THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF APUG!

Anniversaries 1 and 2 were commemorated by everyone going out and shooting on the day and posting a selection to an Anniversary Gallery. I'd really like to see this tradition continued.

Who feels the same?

Aaah, and me just getting used to having a 4x5 enlarger in the house. Might have to get out and use some Fompan in one of my plate cameras, now that I can print it...

I just realized - I have the same birthday as APUG! September 7th is now a double celebration for me! Cool!

Just to be clear......

......These photos for the "Anniversary" gallery are photos that we take "ON" September 7'th? I can sure take a shot on the 7'th, but I'm not the speediest of "processors" (I have to convert the bathroom into a darkroom for each step - 1: develop, 2: print) so it may not get posted until the following weekend - is that gonna' be ok?

cheers

The standard M.O. for the Anniversary bash is that all shots are taken on the 7th and posted as and when you can. Some people tend to be a bit quick but other post a week or more after the day itself.

Hope this helps,

Frank

Happy Birthday APUG!

...and many thanks to Sean for putting this great community together and keeping it going and growing over the last three years!

I'll be out shooting this lunchtime and will try and post something in the Anniversary Gallery tonight!
