(edit- this post is from last year but still applies to the 3 year anniversary)

The one year anniversary of APUG is really close. I think it is Sept. 7th. Jorge or Sean you can correct me on this.

What I propose is that on that day if at all possible we all go out and take a picture to commorate the event. Maybe Sean could put in a special section to the gallery for the Anniversary pictures. Sort of a day in the life of apug.

That is an awesome idea Aggie! Yes Sept.7th is the day.

I'll put together a page and a gallery for this on the weekend.

It's been a great year!

Great idea.
I'll make sure I have some frames left on the film in the only camera I have with me now (and then) - a FED-2 "Soviet Leica copy".

What is this "Off Topic"?

Anyway, I've already got my film packed & ready to go.

*note: sorry for the jumble of letters, laughter racked my body after remembering a previous jocular post

Of course he tells us he's joking after I sold my LF gear for one of those disposable digital cameras! ;-)

How about if I count one and zero to time my exposure, will that count as shooting digitally?

Yep, I figure that will work as the "digital equivalent". Now if you just adjust your aperture to F64 and don't put an "and" between the "one and zero". that will be about right for a sunny day with 100 ISO.

It's not going to be the 7th here for another few hours but the weather is supposed to be beautiful.

wow some of you guys are fast already posting your images, awesome. I am going the experimental route. Using a $6 plastic lens 28mm camera, loaded with provia100 to cross process in c-41
I think I landed some good street shots on the way to the office and back to the ferry. Hope to have them posted within a week...
