Thankfully, all three of our granddaughters are now in their teens. However, two were just here and left, but will be back for a session helping grandpa and grandma in their fall garden chores.

:D

Well, here is a suggestion for Volume 2 of my book:

"How to make Kodachrome film using kitchen spices and ingredients"!

What do you think VII should be? Or, should it be?

PE

PE,
. I know that you are aready working on a panchro emulsion for Vol.II. How about Matrix Film? How about enlarger paper emulsions showing relief? A T-grain emulsion? I promise that I will think of more work for you in the near future!

Bill, anyone interested;

This project has taken on a life of its own. I never realized how long it would take, nor how much it would cost in terms of both money and energy. At this point I have boxes of data, prints, glass plates, notebooks and patents strewn around here much to the dismay of my wife. I am doing a cleanup starting this week AAMOF, and I doubt if there will be a Volume 2 or even a second edition. My post above was more meant as a joke due to the subject matter and due to the probable small audience.

Sorry.

However, any comments are appreciated - just in case!

PE,
I knew that the Kodachrome part was a joke. But I took the last part serously. Maybe after you have recovered from voume I, you may reconsider VII. Or maybe even supliments, addressing specific topics. Realy cheap printing. Like those pamplets I used to find on pay phones, from religious organizations. We could all pass them out,door to door, at 6:00AM on Saturday morning. Just a thought.

Volume I ... VII Just how did it jump from volume one to volume 7?

Show me the math! [or on the other side of the Pond "Show me the maths!"]

The V isn't a roman numeral, tripped me up too. :D

Congratulations on the birth of your new child, err, I mean DVD!

I have gotten many queries about the DVDs so I thought I might post this.

The Photographers Formulary has a shipment of the DVDs from me, and they are ready to sell them. They are working on a way to incorporate a clip taken from the DVDs into their on-line catalog and also they are creating a new entry. When this is done, you will see it. In the meantime I believe that you can pre-order from them or even order for immediate shipment. You would have to contact them for information.

I'm sure that they would have said something here, but Bud is on vacation and just visited us here in Rochester. We had a fine time and a special private tour of GEH and I would like to thank Mark, Stacey and Todd for their hospitality.

A donation to APUG will be made for every DVD set sold to APUG members.

Tom;

I'm hoping by Christmas - 2 years late due to personal reasons. Sorry. It will be available as a set.

One or the other can be used stand-alone, but the book and DVD are linked in subject matter.

I've emailed Sherry at the Formulary to reserve myself a copy. I'm looking forward to the book.

I will be posting that informaiton here on APUG when the time comes.

I am on page 148 out of 244 doing a re-edit. Then I redo the TOC to fix page numbers, and then I do the bibliography. I am aiming for just before Christmas.
