Hey, I think it would look nice next to my Wing-Lynch processor.

... and Steve. I forgot Steve.

By the way, I've been in your basement and I know you have the room.

You folks all heard it. Steve's going to host the Seattle/Tacoma 8x10 enlarger co-op.

Way to step up to the plate Steve.

Ya but just think of a Rocky Mountain Co-op, awe the sights and sounds of the wilderness, with a big 8x10 smack dab in the middle of it!!

Give it up Dave.

1. there's more of us than there are of you.
2. We're right down the street from Shelton.
3. I90 runs through T-Town on the way to Shelton so you'll have to pass through me. I was a pirate in a former life. I'll just board you, roger the wenches and take the enlarger on your way back through.
4. There is no number '4'
5. We've found the perfect place for the enlarger. Smack dab in the middle of our region (thanks Steve).

We but time will tell Schwinn,

The determining factor will be the final price, won't it!

I always wait until the fat lady sings before I give up.

And I grew up in Washington, my last office was in Shelton, so I know a few shortcuts!!!

A couple of things to consider:

1. They've moved Shelton to an undisclosed location.
2. Arrrgh matie! but can yer pay my price? in blood? (said while drawing the steel hook hand across the throat).

Avast yer posturin', ya scurvy dog.

Steady there. Talk like a pirate day isn't until September.

Yes they do Steve, but you have to sign up for workshop to use it, in other words pay for it, My darkroom is free!

If I remember right they have more than one down there at formulary and a very nice set up for doing darkroom work...

but ya don't have to pay to come to my place and the steaks are free!

And don't take me wrong, Bud has a hell of a set up, and I love it down there..and I encourage anyone and everyone to sign up for a workshop, then come play at my place.

LOL

I may have to take you up on that. I'd like to see your shop. I have to get over to the formulary sometime before classes start and rewire the workshop network anyway. If Sharon & I don't get picked for The Amazing Race (will know in the next two weeks) I'll be taking Photo Engineer's class and Sharon wants to take Sandy's carbon class.

Dave,

Steve's just saying this to lull you into a false sense of security. He is actually joining our co-op to buy the Saltzman enlarger. Aren't you Steve?

After all this, there will probably be some deep-pockets bidder in WA who always wanted his own enlarger...

Actually, he doesn't probably even need deep pockets just so long as he isn't an APUG cheapskate (like me!)

Boy Schwinn,

That was a quick avatar change!!

Schwinn--check your avatar on the classifieds and the gallery sometimes. When I changed mine, the old one stuck around in those areas for a while. I think it is still in the classifieds.

don't bother bidding as it's gonna be mine.

Of course, if the seller is reading this and taking it seriously...and isn't a good guy, he could set up some shill bidders to crank the price up on this.

If he were to read this and really believe that some group in the Bay area would buy the enlarger, drive up for the pickup and then set up a group darkroom....well...

Since you are all so afraid of what the women in your lives will say, this fat lady is gonna sing. I like the idea of a rocky mountain co-op. In fact maybe a Four Corners co-op. I know a couple of photographers near me that would like it. Besides when I kick your butts, I'll have you know those high heels in my avatar will really hurt.

Afraid of what lady, my wife looked at it and told me to go for it, if I wanted it...My wife and I have an agreement, she don't say anything about my photo spending and I don't say anything about her craft spending...

Blaming it on "what the wife will say" is a good excuse, though!

I'm backing our Viet Nam war veteran here. Between John and I, this enlarger isn't leaving the northwest. Sorry Aggie, you all will have to drive to Seattle if you want to use this thing.

Besides, you know what happens when a vet doesn't get what he wants?

You do know why the vikings left home to go raid and conquer other lands? If they stayed home their wives would have kicked their butts. Go to that scandinavian community near Seattle and let the men tell you tales of their wives. It aint so sweet when you piss of a Danish lady.
