For question #2, you could get a Rick Oleson screen with pattern 135W:

The BrightScreen MPD has a 6mm diagonal split image set in a microprism collar. The MPD screen is best with eye level finders, geometric subjects such as architecture, and for general photography.

for #1, I remember reading someone going into depth on a reusable leader to conserve film, but for the life of me I can't remember. If you have a backing paper, I'd load it, advance the the first frame, then open the back and measure the distance, and use that measurement, minus an inch or two.

Hello All!

I was gifted by a old school gent a 6x7 220 film back for my Bronica GS-1. I was looking for 220 film, but found it available next to none...

Being new to the Medium Format world, can I use 120 film in the 220 film back? Any mods or anything to watch out for?

Appreciate your time and feedback for this Medium Format total NOOB!

Reflx Lab has new 220 film. It's Pro100 and is $25.00 a roll. Considering the same film in 120 is $13.00, you're paying for two rolls and saving a dollar. Great film, the only problem is it takes up to 12 days to get from China to Pennsylvania.
