Well, it was an interesting morning to say the least. Had a shot all figured out.... one I had seen a few weeks back while shooting 35mm. So i decided to revisit it for the negative exchange with my RB67.
Drove 40 minutes to the site, trudged through the melting snow & ice & mud & rocks. Set up the tripod, mounted the camera & 250mm. Spent a little time composing the image, then pulled out the meter. Took several readings, both incident and reflected 1° spot. Determined f/8 at ¼ sec was correct for the dynamic range.
Pulled the film back off and reached into the bag for a roll of Ilford Pan-F. Opened the box, the foil wrapper and tore off the adhesive strip. Opened the film back and.........................
That was the sound you heard about 4 hours ago. It was me.
Anyhoo..... All is well in the cosmos now. Roll exposed and now hanging up to dry. As I was pouring the fixer in, the mail truck came by, so I missed getting the negs out today and will have to wait until Monday.
