I'm another who is buying 2405 from That Canadian Guy and I'd be very interested in perforated FP4 (assuming you're not cutting Pan-F:wink: ). I have an RB 70mm back and I'm pretty sure that it depends on the perforations to run the frame counter therefore unperforated is probably not an option for me. I'm not a huge-volume shooter though, so it'd be probably just 2 cans for me at that price.

I believe that there are more opportunities to shoot on perforated 70mm film vs unperforated. Hasselblad, Bronica, Mamiya, Pentax, Linhof... They all made holders for perforated film. Hasselblad have produced so many of them that the price has become ridiculous (I bought recently two holders with cartridges for 25 and 29 pounds in mint condition). For some reason majority of photographers do not look at what is around and follow the main stream. But I am pretty sure that if Ilford made a small batch of perforated 70mm FP-4 (as they did it in the past), they would have sold it easily.

Count me in on fresh 70mm perfed or unperfed. I can either shoot it in my Graflex backs or with my Mamiya RB.

Shoot I just spent $170 on 2 100' rolls of Ilford unperforated 70mm film (cold stored) on ebay.

I'd still be happy if they released another batch. I have nine rolls left of my frozen batch of 116 film. The film was discovered in a freezer. Frozen since the 60s and develops great. Eventually I'll need to roll my own 116 film. I've been snatching up 70mm film off ebay for the past few years.

We publish all the information in April and then our ULF re-seller partners get all the information and confirmation of prices from our distributor and you then contact the ULF re-seller partner to place an order. We will make sure you do not get left behind or miss out !

I had the same question so I mailed Ilford directly, asking when and where to order. This was their reply this week:

"Thank you for your enquiry I have listed below a distributor for you to contact . They usually order from the campaign. Ordering for this is around June time for despatch August. They will have to give you the selling price"

The information on the ULF list will be published in toward the end of this month, on our own website, we are currently confirming our ULF partner re-sellers and the proposed list of products to be offered.
I will inform you as soon as it goes live.

Thanks Simon, looks like I have not missed any new information yet. I was thinking I was doing something wrong or looking in the wrong places.

Simon:

Would you ever consider adding non-standard sizes of photographic paper to this programme?

For example, I would really like it if I could buy 16" rolls of MGIV RC Warmtone and Cooltone.

And it would be great if it was easier to find 12" x 16" paper here in Canada.

On the subject of sizes, what is the widest width that Pan F Plus is made? Just a question.

Also very interested in 122 size roll, would gladly order a 30 meter roll. Yeah, HP5+ would be cool, since I still have a lot of new-old-stock Verichrome Pan 122 that's in good to great shape. So I'd have a faster film available, which would be good with the 3A Panoram Kodak in less than bright light. Width would need to be "just right", else loading it in a Nikor 122 reel could be very unpleasant. I think 92mm is the size, but would be glad to send in a sacrificial roll for a width measurement.

Also photographic paper on roll ??

I would like this too: a nice roll of 20 inch high and several meters long would work nicely in making
large pinhole images in a very large pinhole camera (like a room, a truck or caravan, or ...).

Would be nice if it could be Ilford Direct Positive paper:

- Sticking paper on the wall
- expose by opening pinhole for several minutes
- use sponges and buckets to develop and fix (while still hanging)

See for example Shaun Irving: The Camera Truck: http://www.wps.net.nz/featured/pinhole-camera-truck/ and http://cameratruck.net/Site/Landing.html

This is one of his images that inspired me:

We make DIRECT Positive FB in rolls
Simon. ILFORD Photo / HARMAN technology Limited :

Hello Simon,
Thanks for the info: I'm pleased to hear/read it http://www.ilfordphoto.com/products/productlist.asp?n=65&t=

One more question. Your website stated last year the Resin Coated (RC) version of the Direct Positive Paper was temporarily out of production due to technical problems. Is there any word yet on when the RC version will be available again next to the FB version?

Thank you,
Bert from Holland

Dear Bert,

The FB range is currently all that is being coated. I will update you on any news regarding RC when I have it.

Kind Regards

Simon.

Dear All,

As you know I advised that we would release all the information relating to the 2013 ULF and Custom Film manufacture via a press release by the end of April.

Just to update you we are still working through with our distributor and reseller partners some details they need before we can release the details via press release, so its likely the press release will go out week beginning May 6th 2013.

I apologise for this short delay.

Regards

Simon. ILFORD Photo / HARMAN technology Limited :

Can you add me to the list for a 3-5/8" roll for respooling 122.

I might even get that old 3a Graphic overhauled if I knew I had what to feed it with.

Thanks.

Dear Shalom,

Well you are lucky as we will be making 122 FORMAT roll film available in slittings ( in HP5+ only )
on a purely technical point we make 122 FORMAT as being 3 and 1/4 wide 82.55mm.

One of the delays in issuing the item list to be manufactured is that it has grown to be our biggest ever offering in the ULF run with 62 different items.

These ULF and custom item lists are obviously being shared and worked on with our distributors and re-seller partners at this time so as they have all the information, including pricing that you will need when you place your orders.

The actual date we plan to release all the information via our website ( and on APUG ) is Friday 10th May ( one week today ) at 5.00pm UK time.

And finally.... for the large number of people who have PM emmed I CAN CONFIRM 70mm HP5+ ( roll film base ) will be available in 50 foot lengths UNPERFORATED and DOUBLE REFORATED.....alongside some other surprises.
