Dear Oleg-Photo,

I'm sorry, but I have to have approval for each item, the 70mm double perforated was especially difficult as we had to invest in having a perforator altered and upgraded to 70mm, with no gurantee we will get any orders...but the work needs to be done before I can even confirm we can do it.

There will be orders

Simon, B&H the biggest US distributor is closed and will be for like the next week because of some Jewish holiday... How long do we have to make an order? Kind of freaking out now...

It's open for ages (at least "weeks"), so no stress.

Take some time to look at the list of Suppliers on Ilford's website. I did this last year and found that there was a considerable difference in the price range. This was especially true when postage was factored in (written realising you're in NY, so postage might not be an issue for you).

Full list of available items & dealers - ULF 2013

The official press release showed up at the Ilford site:
http://www.ilfordphoto.com/pressroom/article.asp?n=164

About ordering and delivery dates it says:

The ordering window opens on Monday 13th May and will run until Friday 28th June 2013. After the closing date, HARMAN will manufacture the items at its factory in the UK with a view to shipping orders to arrive with dealers in September.

To download a full list of the items available in this campaign, and for a list of participating Dealers (PDF), click here:
ULF 2013 Items and Dealer List

The mentioned dealers on this list are in Canada, U.K. and USA. But I know there are also other dealers in other countries (like here, in Holland).

So dig in and order before June 28th, 2013 !!

Thanks, in the FP4+ offering, it looks like there are other rolls available that got left off since it says "list continued" but starts out with HP5+ am I wrong or looking at it wrong?

Definitely buying 70mm non-perf and double perf and some 127.... Whoot!

Postage from B&H is the same no matter where in the US if you order ground it's $7 so it's cheap, and freestyle is JUST a bit more expensive generally than B&H and since I'm probably ordering a bunch, every penny counts, but I appreciate the feedback.

I saw HP5+ in 122 format. That would be fun. But it would need backing paper I suppose, and some way to develop it..... I've probably got too many other things going on right now and wouldn't get it done. Ah well. No minimum order, through lots of distributors, this just pushes Ilford even higher in my estimation. It's not just talk they really go out of their way to cater to us, don't they? Impressed again.

Question for Simon - typo in the list??

Thanks, in the FP4+ offering, it looks like there are other rolls available that got left off since it says "list continued" but starts out with HP5+ am I wrong or looking at it wrong?
I noticed some differences too. Maybe someone forgot to past & copy the "ROLL" versions of HP4+ from the Excell sheet into this document??
@Simon: could you please check this? Is this a typo??

And can anyone tell me what sort this type of film is?
1173918- FP4+ - MINI- 10in x 100ft - UP EI- Roll #
The footnote says: "MINI = 35mm Base". What does that mean?

I seem to recall the 10" rolls being for aerial-cameras, or was that 9 1/2" ?? I used to print the stuff a quarter of a century ago and I can't remember! It would be either aerial-camera or one of the banquet-camera formats.

The base refers to the thickness. 135 is slightly thicker than the usual rollfilm 120 thickness and might slightly affect loading (reduced capacity) for a roll-core or film-magazine.

The list still says 82.55mm for 122, though. Please double-check the size before actually cutting the stuff. 92mm is closer (I just measured it again).

I also note the availability of backing paper, but it only seems to come in 120 size. Could this be made available in wider widths? 122 would be great, but wider even than that would be even better for me, because there are a few cameras in my basement that use even wider stock than that (123, 126, even 104, although the latter isn't working at the moment). I suppose I could slit it to 1-3/8" wide and tape it to the side of another piece to get 3-5/8, but I'd be afraid of light getting in through the crack if I don't line it up exactly right.

Yikes, I just saw your post, grabbed my 3A and was about to open it up to measure when I realized that it has a sheet of film in it already. But you're right 92 sounds about right, and 82.55 is the frame size not the film size.

I'd decided not to try this, but if I hear that the "roll" portion of FP4+ was omitted by accident, and they will make FP4+ in 122 format, I will probably change my mind and get some.

Will 46mm be offered in FP4+ as well?

Iso 400 is too fast for most 127 cameras.

Fingers crossed

I purchased a Kodak 3a the other day and some old 122 verichrome (for respooling) so I can buy some of the film from this special order. Large format in rolls? How cool is that?!

I'll also be getting a few boxes of FP4+ in 7x17. This will be my first time ordering from the ULF annual runs, and I can guarantee it won't be my last! Way to go Ilford! I'm located in South Korea and may be the only one ordering from your special runs. I preach the good news about ULF and large format, hope more will become interested. Long love film! Long live Ilford! May other companies learn from your model. Customer is always right. May you reap many benefits from it, Ilford.

Hi Everyone :

Firstly on the 122 format we had made an error the film will be cut to 91.75mm ( the price will not change ).

Nothing has been left off the list. Whilst we appreciate some people would like FP4+ in the 127 and 122 we need to see how many we get just offering one film ( HP5+ ) if we do OK, then next year we will make it available in FP4+ as well.

120 Wrapper ( Backing paper ) is printed and finished ONLY to 120 size Sorry, it cannot be cut wider economically.

You said "the price hasn't changed" but I just called one of the distributors on the list "freestyle photographic supplies" and they said you haven't given them prices yet, is that correct?

If so I'm sorry if you already said that and I missed it but I wanted to know how much before I decide how many to order haha.

Thanks.
