Nah, like I said, if I was going to that trouble I'll pack a 35mm kit. The beauty of the Rollei is it is tiny - just a little bit bigger than the film cartridge. Smaller than the Pentax.
And the very fact that it does not have an interchangeable lens makes you just use it in a carefree manner, not think about changing lenses.
For me, 110 photography is just that - as simple as possible. The Rollei backs up that philosophy with outstanding results. And the 'spy camera' look is very cool - people have mentioned that to me when I'm using it!
Not knocking the Pentax, just not my thing. BUT I hope someone will post pics taken with it on this thread! Do you have one? If so, post!
I do have some photos, but no scanning mask yet. I could only scan them with a cheap scanner, not worth posting. but there will be a mask for my epson v700 soon, a friend will 3D print it for me. when it arrives, I will scan and post....Not knocking the Pentax, just not my thing. I have the rollei and I have the pentax with all lenses. my favorite is the the pentax with the 18mm lens. it's not much bigger and I don't change lenses often. sometimes I "carry" the 24mm, 13 gramsmy small cameras are here https://www.subcompactcam.com/index.htm

or get the voigtländer vitoret 110EL. it's even smaller and much lighter. it's 107 cm³ vs 111 cm³ and 126gr vs 185gr. I did not have it when I made the size comparison photos, but I will add another photo soon. the lanthar lens is as good as the tessar, they stopped it down to F5.6 to get a fixed focus camera. picture results were excellent. It seems to me to either get the Rollei or the Pentax. https://www.subcompactcam.com/110_size.htm

and there is another one: I put my hands on a balda 1000 BR-EL. this is a better and a bit wider version of the minox 110S. balda made the minoxes, but made their own line at the same time. and it seems that they don't have the flaws of the minoxes, I have 3 minoxes with advance problems, the balda advance looks the same, but seems to be more precise and reliable. you can find the balda on my page as well...
I use the Lomo Digitiliza 110 film holder.
thank you very much.1st off, really enjoying your site!
I don't think that the lens is really slower, they just wanted a fixed focus camera and chose 2 apertures. the plastic is high quality plastic and saves a lot of weight. The Voigtlander just seems like a poor man's Rollei (and made by Rollei), with its plastic case, fixed focus slower lens and only two apertures to choose from. But I would still like to try one!
as said above, I wait for a scanning mask for my epson v700. corona slows down a lot of things, so it might take another 2 months. Can you post pics taken with it?
I know. it took me years to find one.The Balda - only one broken one on ebay..
I made a mask out of a foam sheet. Took me a bunch of tries. I've found the Auto 110 is loads of fun to use by my hit rate is abysmal.
Auto 110, Vision3 500T
The chemistry I'm using is beyond shot. The film itself has seen better days. I really don't care though. I'd love one of those Rolleis but Ebay prices for them is out of wack.
This one on ebay is currently at $25. I ended up paying about $40 each for mine.

I have two unused rolls of Fukkatsu. I bought them mainly for what I read was an easier to open cartridge for reloading. 16mm film isn't hard to come by or recut from wider stock, but the 110 cartridges Lomo films come in are sonic welded -- really, really hard to open without destroying them.
