I just purchased mine, but I am not a dentist. Never was, so I cannot be a retired one. I wonder how it will work with the prism. I may need to go out and get a sport viewer like yours. Thank you.
I know Jobo machines with lifts cost money, but the even and consistent development are worth it for large format. I use the 3010 Expert Drum for 4"x5" film sheets on mine.
I am very aware of the difference between a stationary lens and a swing lens. That I why I have the WideLux F7, the 30mm Fisheye, and the Hasseblad 903 SWC.
Look at the subject without the camera.
Look through the viewfinder.
Compose in the viewfinder just like you would do with any other camera.
Review the print, and think about how you could make it better.
You look at the subject and background. You decide what to you want to show up darker or lighter. Then decide how to do that: no filters, which filter, depth of field [f/stop, shutter speed and wear to focus], contrast, ...
Yes, I just used it at Yosemite because I left my other filters and home and I wanted to darken the sky, bring out the clouds better ... I also checked to see that I was not loosing reflections.
