vue-all makes some 7 strips of 6 negative sleeves, Ultrafine(and Freestlye too I think) has them

I make contact sheets(c-41) onto 10x12 paper(same size I use for 6x7 negs), cut from 12" lab rolls from "e-prey"...
EPR is ektachrome 64, and its a "chrome" film, NOT negative(unless you cross-process ;), which I've found it doesn't do all that well)
just wish the price was a little lower, I'd go bananas. EPR and EPN are my all-time fav's for chrome film, then E100G and Astia

I've had this happen some times before. And it wasn't mis-loaded film. Some holders(I think the newer fidelity's IIRC), have some more "play room" for the film to move around than with the older holders, like the graflex ones w/ metal pull handles. those ones, the film don't budge.
but it might...
Plus-X and Tri-X are great films. I've started using those two in 35mm as my go-to films, just because I can get them re-rolled from Freestle for about $2/roll.
look for Arista Premium, the 100 is PX, and the 400 is TX.
just wish they had them in 120, I'd give up on shooting Nikons, and just...
the video's a little old, but still very usable techniques

Todddos,
I'm in somewhat of the same "boat" as you. I'm brand new to the world of 8x10, but to me, its an exciting step in creating something unique and rarely seen these days. Especially since digi-photography has taken over much of the pro market, as well as some well-established artists...
since you just purchased that 45a, you might want to look at getting a reducing lensboard adapter, so you can adapt the lenses from your 45a to your rail camera(whatever you get).
just another thing to think about

hey all,
selling this great little lens in addition my 90mm f/2 Summi. This lens is in great condition, and is super sharp! EASILY the sharpest 50mm lens I've ever used. Just like the 90mm I'm selling, I was looking to adapt this to an F-mount(Nikon) to use on my F100. Right now my focus is...
hey all,
got this just a few weeks ago from a fellow member here, but I've decided the system isn't for me. I'll just stick with my nikon's. I was thinking of adapting this to a Nikon mount, to use on my F100, but right now my focus is 8x10, and I need some cash to help pay for school as well...
I thought there was a petition going around to try to get Freestyle to pressure Kodak to let them re-roll TX and PX in 120.
I hope they can, cause TMY2 is getting kinda expensivo'!

Photobizz:
did you win the orange 8x10 contact frame on ebay yesterday(or the day before), the one in san dimas, ca?
if so, darn you :). I was gunning for that one, since I could pick it up in person.
oh well, I got the same one, just a different one today on here, just a tad more $$ wise :)...
most of the people that I've assisted for here in LA have told me that the "art" in photography, even advert. work, went out the window when digital became the norm.
sucks, cause the photographer isn't really asked to give THEIR spin on it, like in the film days. Now, even for editorial work...
hey guys,
thanks for the answers. My safelight is a 5x7 Premier. I have a few pieces of 1/8" plate glass I was planning on grinding down, or taking to my friends shop and having him sandblast it on both sides.
but the filtration was an issue.

the USPS is doing well with shipping times, I like to use them when I can.
