I disagree. Most people choose the shutter speed to make sure that the stop the action. Set it once for the day. Setting the aperture may need to be done for each subject. Most people think of the shutter speed first.

Still a very bulky solution for medium format. I would recommend a number of tlrs, folders, or range finder cameras first.

You can just save yourself time and grief and send the camera out for a CLA. It will come back working, tested and all the shutter speeds will be within specification. Also any light leaks or potential light leaks will be remedied.

Maybe I am lucky and others are unlucky but I have not had a flare problem with my spot meters. I have even looked for them.

The Mamiya C2xx and C3xx cameras besides having interchangeable lenses, allow one to focus or trip the shutter with either hand. I believe that that is unique and quite useful depending on ones handiness and mobility.
