Looks adequaely "old". Ansel used to add a blue filter to add "old-ness" to such images..... we would get a blue filter out of almost any old filter pack lying about and use it.... guessing at some sort of filter factor.... try that, Tim and see how it works.....Bill

Wonder if any of you remember how the red LEDs work in the view finder of the Rollei 35 SE.... there are 2, one above the other and seem to be coupleled to the aperture & shutter speed ring... but what's the formula.... one out.... both out..... what?

I am an old time Rollei w/ rolleinar user and have seen this reticulation before.... never been able to track it down... Al Weber says it is from the evil God Reticula whom you must now propitiate some how...... I don't know how either, but I like the image a lot!
I have been buying supplies from J&C for a while and they seem to have vanished. what has happened. Then I heard they were moving to Las Vegas and then they were quitting due to suits..... suits in photography? any one know the real scoop here? I always had good service from them..... thanks
Go for the PC lenses, if you can get them. Also consider the super, magnicient 40mm that is often available

The dark slide was not all the way at the bottom..... felt as if it were, but a llittle push and down it went and immediately went frame 1, as it should.... I am using the interchangeable back.... love the way it looks and feels..... I have been a Rollei TLR man for lots of years...
Does anyone have any experience with the Rollei 6001? I have finally gotten all the bits togeteehr adn tied to load a roll of film according to the 6002 manual..... when I press the shutter release to advance to frame 1, nothing happens. I do not yet have a 6001 book..... ordered it and paid for...
Super light!..... those edge marksare know as bromide burnout and are consistient with almost any form of stainless steel hangers or reels..... I shifted to plastic (Paterson) stuff and don't have the problem any more.... has to do with agitation mostly
Takes me back 40 years to my time (26 yrs) in the Navy. this is a power tetrode. This baby can slug out about 250 watts and 400 mhz. Can't count the times I've changed these on many a ship..... great work and thanks!
