You probably have the old CdS chimney finder (it uses a S76 cell). Mine had a very broken meter. It was great as a finder, it blocked all stray light and had great clarity. However, since it doesn't fold down, it adds bulk.

There are some pics on the internet and they suggest that there is NO moving film plane, contrary to what I've claimed. Lol.
So it's a bit strange. Perhaps the front standard moves?

I just wish it was available on Contax RF/Kiev RF mount; the only choices for 25 or 24mm or wider on those mounts are insanely expensive museum-pieces from Zeiss (biogon, topogon) and Nikon, a rather expensive...
For me it's the opposite, i prefer the FE. Had a mint FM2 that got for a very good price, i sold it just 2 weeks after i got it. I much preferred the FE/FE2 viewfinder/meter and the auto mode.
