This compared to same Q last year. Last year at this time, we did not really know what we were in for. Perhaps we still don't. GMAC just asked for another Gov't Bail-out. Do you believe that?
Back in the day, B&H sold film out of an entire corner of the store. Really nice space. Well, over the last few years that has gone and your film was ordered by the chemical/paper area by telling the sales rep what you want and he would have it sent up from the downstairs "city".
I was there...
I'm having problems finding a dev time. The massive chat shows HC-110 for 3.5 min for Arista EDU 200. They list no 100.
The box states NR for HC-110 so I'm putting this out there to see if anyone has ever worked with this old film?
Thank you.
Thomas, thank you much.
I have one more question if you don't mind please,
I have lot's of Tri-x and I have define. Can define be used in a rotary processor? I can set up for two dev chems.?
Well, Pinhole, I really love the film. I've not shot street at night. Do you think 1600 will be enough for me. I really don't need big details in the shadows.
Also, do you find a difference in the neo 1600 135 and 120?
Thank you
Good evening.
I'll be shooting the Halloween parade in Greenwich village and was wondering if I'm better off with Ilford 3200 @EI 3200 or Tri-x 400 @ 1600 or 3200
Thank you much.
Tom
This is old news. They take your order and then email you two days later that it's out of stock and it takes a LONG time to get the credit on your card.
Q.G. What do you have against incident metering? :)
All I can say is that I've been using my 3 to 10 degree spot metering and compensating for the zone. I've been hitting the shadows and stopping down two stops and my neg's have greatly improved. I'm also in a habit of writing down my exposures...
Just thought I'd let those that did not know this, as I've seen the question a few places, that the Epson V500 does indeed scan 4x5 neg's and E6.
I ran into a 4x5 holder for the V700 and used it. You can make one as well.
FWIW.
Keith gives good advice for sure. Where are you located?
I have a complete RZ system, I mean everything. It is an outstanding camera.
I use to use to for Handheld but now because of an issue my arms are becomeing weaker and I may have to trade her. She is indeed heavy and cumbersome. The...
Jonathan, I've leaned long ago not to take too much of what is said on forums to heart, you'll live longer. that said, there is an amazing group of people here, it's just that some peeps have to argue as they have too much time on their hands.
I hope you hang out. It would be good for us and...
Jonathan, I am the OP here on the thread....
Thank you very much for your joining and and sharing. Helps a lot! Also, a VERY welcome to you from APUG.
(By the way, you state: 'Film is a magical thing people, you should try it' ... That's all we do here.
I have watched your website, your...
Ken, good idea thank you. Checked. Nope. But would have made sense.
Now, without the back on my 4x5 I placed a pola sheet into the holder and watch it go in. It clicked and in a bit I'll attach it when I'm ready and see if the env pulls off leaving the film. (Can't do that now or I'll loose the...
Perk, thank you for this, this seems to fit exactly what a lot of folk here at stating.
I'm going to run with this in the next few days and see. Today I shot my first 4x5 film. Having issues with the polaroid back but I'm working on it.
It's all fun.
Thank you all.
