For Trade WTT: Rolleiflex SL66 kit for Pentax 67II kit

Hey all, I've been using a Rolleiflex SL66 kit for the past few months, and while it's a nice camera, I just can't seem to jive with it as I hoped I would have when I got it. I'm interested in trading for a Pentax 67II body, and a 105mm 2.4 lens kit. Here's what I have: SL66 body w/ WLF (2)...

200mm Grandagon-N vs. Late 210mm Super Angulon..... Which Would You Choose ??

Either will work very well for your intended purposes. Make sure your process is down perfectly, as making murals isn't for the faint of heart, or light of wallet(well, assuming you want the best quality throughout the process) -Dan

    155 Grandagon-N vs. 150mm Nikkor-SW..... Which Would You Choose and Why ??

I (had) a Grandagon 155mm lens. BIG, HEAVY, but the illumination was very even. In this "class", I believe it's actually the most even(well, unless you have the Schneider Super Symmar 150mm XL and the center filter for it) -Dan

    Cinestill 800T in 120 - Kickstarter

There's a few issues in what you proposed: "Why not just put together an order of Vision 500T from Kodak, packaged as 120 without remjet? Clearly Kodak would probably do it if the minimum order was met, and it would ultimately be cheaper and better than some 3rd party hackers and their seemingly...

How to emulate the look and feel of pictures by Helmut Newton

I worked with another photo assistant a few years back, and I asked him if he had ever worked for any of "the greats". Turns out he had assisted Helmut Newton a number of times, and every time was similar in terms of Mr. Newton's regard to the technical side of things: NOT technical (more or...

Advice for new guy, RC or Fiber

I would START(as in get "back in gear/up to speed") with RC. Probably a few months of getting back into the hang of things. But definitely give fiber a try. KEEP GOOD NOTES(that is, if you intend to have repeatable results, especially if dodging/burning!) You'll need to test your papers out so...

    Surge marks?
