thanks Vinny,
right now things are a bit thin $$$-wise, so I'm trying for a trade. But if things should change, I'll give your kit some thought.
cheers,
Dan
Hey all,
I've been using a Rolleiflex SL66 kit for the past few months, and while it's a nice camera, I just can't seem to jive with it as I hoped I would have when I got it. I'm interested in trading for a Pentax 67II body, and a 105mm 2.4 lens kit.
Here's what I have:
SL66 body w/ WLF

Either will work very well for your intended purposes. Make sure your process is down perfectly, as making murals isn't for the faint of heart, or light of wallet(well, assuming you want the best quality throughout the process)

I (had) a Grandagon 155mm lens.
BIG, HEAVY, but the illumination was very even. In this "class", I believe it's actually the most even(well, unless you have the Schneider Super Symmar 150mm XL and the center filter for it)

Got a nice, pretty clean El-Nikkor 105mm enlarging lens. Glass looks good, some minor internal dust, but nothing I'd be super picky about, even with "picky" work.
Enlarge your 6x9 and smaller negatives with confidence :)

Hey all,
Got a slightly used quick-release set here from "Clean's Camera Support(David Berryman)" (http://www.cleanscamerasupport.com/). Works great for any large system(heck even ULF would work great with this!), as it's designed for the heavy weight of motion-picture cameras/systems. I used...
Hey all,
Ari is a top-tier fellow here on the analog-photography forums . Every deal he and I have done together(both buying and selling from each side)over the past few years has gone smooth as silk.
So here's a free 'bump' for a nice fellow, and his very nice lens :)
I think I'm going to need a bigger storage unit... Alas this won't fit into the back of the prius, otherwise the gas savings might be worth the trip :D
Does anyone here happen to work in international shipping? Or know someone who is a broker for cross-border equipment sales?
There's a few issues in what you proposed:
"Why not just put together an order of Vision 500T from Kodak, packaged as 120 without remjet? Clearly Kodak would probably do it if the minimum order was met, and it would ultimately be cheaper and better than some 3rd party hackers and their seemingly...

I worked with another photo assistant a few years back, and I asked him if he had ever worked for any of "the greats". Turns out he had assisted Helmut Newton a number of times, and every time was similar in terms of Mr. Newton's regard to the technical side of things: NOT technical (more or...
I hardly ever shoot 35mm anymore, and when I do, I've never used a tele-converter. So this is purely surplus to my needs.

Hey all,
I'm not using this anymore, as I've moved to a linen tester for my focusing loupe needs.
Still works great, but has some minor signs of use.

Hey all,
Thought that someone out there might want to make, or build a custom set of bellows for their Technikardan 45/45S. I believe that's what these are for(basing my beliefs on pictures of TK45 bellows I've seen in pictures ;)!)
Anywho, the frames seem unaffected, but the bellows are...
I found this in the garage yesterday, and I have no need for it. I'd rather put some more gas in my tank, or some more film in the freezer :)
Tripod Shows a large amount of cosmetic wear, but still locks down fine, and is quite tall. I wouldn't hesitate to put a lightweight 4x5 or a MF camera on...
I would START(as in get "back in gear/up to speed") with RC. Probably a few months of getting back into the hang of things.
But definitely give fiber a try.
KEEP GOOD NOTES(that is, if you intend to have repeatable results, especially if dodging/burning!)
You'll need to test your papers out so...
Hey all
Doing some consolidation. Too many film holders sitting about, and I have (9) 5x7 Fidelity Deluxe holders I won't be needing. All have just(as in last week) had the hinge tape replaced(by me, using super hi-quality bookbinders tape), and the darkslides "exposed"(black) side of the pull...
looks like bromide drag to me, usually linked to insufficient agitation during the development stage. I've experienced this myself when having film processed in a roller transport processor. Hand agitation(well, the way I do it), and professional dip-n-dunk processing has never given me issues...
Hey all,
A new lens is arriving tomorrow, so I need a board for it.
Looking for (1) Copal #3 lens board.
