Just purchased a Bessa R2A from CameraQuest. When I ordered it I got an email saying it was their last r2a and now their out of stock on the store. I wonder if they ever will have more in stock since I'm pretty sure they're discontinued?

If it's been discontinued, it means that it probably is no longer made. Whether he gets more cameras from somewhere else, who knows?

Cosina has dropped numerous models from its line as it introduces new models.

The "A" models (R2A/R3A/R4A) were all discontinued at Cosina in Japan as of June 10, 2013:

Konica Hexar RF - bought for about 1/3 of what I sold an M6 Classic for recently (simply to reduce investment). This particular example is rough and missing its frame lever, but so far so good.

Bessa R3A with 40/1.4 Single Coated. And just added a 50/2 ZM. Looking forward to trying it, I think the R3 with a 50mm lens will be killer!

As I often do, I made the mistake of browsing KEH. As I was casually browsing through the categories of things I don't need, I was trying to click "back" when I accidentally clicked "Leica", I continued to try and scroll my way out of the mess I was in, and then I saw an M2 button rewind for a solid deal (BGN condition) and I tried again to click "back" but missed and pressed add to cart. Then I frantically tried to undo this terrible mistake, and wouldn't you know it, accidentally pressed checkout! To make matters worse, because of my long-standing account on KEH and saved credit card info, when I was certain I clicked "Cancel" I actually clicked "Complete Order".

Oh dear.

I'm just full of mistakes.

Bought a Leica M6 classic with .85x viewfinder. Popped a Voigtlander Color-Skopar 35mm on it and some Acros in it. Now to find some time to shoot!

Sure looks like it. First roll is incredibly sharp. Treating the whole parallax problem as capturing as much as possible so cropping is minimized but am planning on cropping anyway to get the desired image. Thinking street photography could be different setting the 43mm at hyperfocal.

The leaf shutters are so quiet - makes it perfect for street. I preferred the look of the 50mm when I had my kit. 43mm at f/11 or f/16 w/ hyperfocal will make a mean point and shoot! The 65mm was my favorite focal length of the bunch - close to 35mm's angle of view on the smaller format.

That's exactly what I was thinking, f/11 or f/16. Gotta love the HyperFocal Pro Android app. Nice description as a mean point and shoot and in MF to boot. I didn't get the 50mm lens though, just the 43, 65, 80, and 150mm lenses. And later the viewfinder for the 150mm come to think of it.

Filters look to be tricky though, I have lots of 52mm B+Ws but not so many 62mm and 72mm ones so I got the B+W step up rings for 58mm to 62mm and 67mm to 72mm although I haven't tried them yet. Not intending to use a polarizer but instead either yellow or red for black and white or KR-1.5 or UV filters for color, what little I shoot.

This was my first Rangefinder. About two and a half years ago. Let's see, what have I owned since then:
Another Canon 7
Four Olympus XA's - I love them, but they just keep breaking on me.
Leica M2 (my first Leica!), Leica M4 and now most recently got an M6.
Leica IIa
Konica Hexar (if that counts...).

I've been bitten by the RF bug for sure.

I bought a big box of old camera stuff from someone who was liquidating her late uncle's estate. Among other things, it contained:

Leica M4
Leica IIIc stepper
Nicca type 3 S
Kodak Retina IIIc
Summicron 50/2 type 3
Summicron 50/2 collapsible LTM
Elmar 90/4 M mount
Hektor 135/4 M mount
Nikkor H.C. 50/2 LTM
Nikkor P.C. 8.5/2 LTM
Visoflex III
Various finders, lens hoods, adapters, etc.

The M4 is perfect. As are both Summicrons. That was a good mail day.

I just bought a Canon P off eBay. I've loved the P since over 25 years ago when I was a camera dealer and would occasionally get one. When I'd get one in, I'd try to use it before it got sold. Usually they didn't hang around very long, being such good looking cameras.

This one is coming from one of the Japanese sellers I'm seeing more and more of on eBay. I've bought from them before. They usually have very clean products, priced fairly, and document the items well with quality images. So I felt comfortable buying this P from this guy in Japan. Sometimes the shipping can be rather high when buying from these guys, but not this one. It was actually reasonable.

But what really sold me on this P was the shutter curtain. When's the last time you've seen a P that didn't have a wrinkled shutter curtain? Me neither. But this P's curtain looks like the camera's never been used. I was surprised. Another thing I was surprised about was this guy was offering it as an auction with low reserve and a low starting price. At 10 seconds left, it was sitting at $20. That's when I placed a bid for $92, hoping I wouldn't get outbid by a collecting fanatic. I wasn't. I got it for $71 due to some last second, half-hearted bid activity. A very clean Canon P with leather case and with a smooth, unwrinkled shutter for $71! It was indeed good fortune. Here's the eBay ID if you're interested in taking a look at my cool new camera: 191593028532

elcabezagrande, you lucky dog! What an incredible find!
